probably get relegated and steven taylor named player manager for next season while ashley states he will never sell the club ever
-
probably tomorrow if I had to guess
-
for the best he's gone but my god did the club ever fuck up how they went about it, leaving him hanging around in limbo for a week is a fairly shitty way to do things and frankly the time to sack him was post chelsea but better late than never
-
Because Real Madrid. seem to recall him talking to West Ham before Real Madrid came knocking in the summer
-
gone down from a 9.9999999999 to an 8, its a major upgrade in the dugout but is it too late and a major step down in the level of player he is used to working with. And also we never ever get new manager honeymoon
-
still don't believe it
-
In fairness, he should never have been given the Madrid job. Was nailed on to be sacked sooner rather than later. not wrong given his preferred style isn't the most exciting brand of football in history and Perez's belief that a team solely made up of attackers would be the ideal team so that was always going to end badly. But still from managing (last 3 jobs) Real Madrid, Napoli and Chelsea to us rather a gap in standards there

Norwich 0-2 Man City Bournemouth 2-1 Swansea Stoke 1-1 Southampton Aston Villa 0-2 Spurs Leicester 5-0 Newcastle

still don't believe it, its just the prospect of going from at the start of the season managing Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo to our mob seems way too big a drop for any manager to make
-
Otherwise known as conducting business like they have a fucking clue. if it works to their plan its good practice, if (when) they fail to get anyone to replace him it makes the situation somehow worse (which is impressive by itself) as the players are barely listening to McClaren as is what are they going to be like once they know the club really wants to sack him but can't because there is literally no one better than him willing to come.
-
now they hope all the awkward questions will just go away
-
That's ridiculous people will take one for the team and gambl on them missing the penalty surely?? the triple punishment always seemed harsh for me (pen, red card and ban)
-
Which is an utterly incredible position to take. Signal to McClaren they have no confidence in him while actively looking for his replacement, what incentive would he have to continue doing anything in his position? This club man, shattering records for incompetence every season. The Somalian government functions better than this lot. tbf a majority of clubs will have at least a good idea on who they want to replace someone on the brink of the sack and will have probably informally gotten a signal on if he'd take it espicially mid to late season. Of coarse a sane club would have taken the chelsea game and the 18 day break as the ideal time to sack someone, sort out the replacement and he'd have time to assess the squad and get some decent training in. Sure, but I'm skeptical our particular club has that much foresight. probably not til now sure but its probably what they're doing now as stupidly late as it is, McClaren won't be sacked until they're sure on a replacement and lord help us if everyone turns them down.
-
honestly not sure on Pearson, sure he's kinda completely insane but on the other hand Leicesters big run began with him and the insane upturn in results towards the end of last season and even when they were losing they never really looked terrible like us or Villa do right now.

What's he on about? Wasn't Les part of Redknapp's team at QPR? QPR's current DOF
-
a bigger sack of cash? Or people making shit up whichever seems more plausible
-
hate seeing such blatant cheating, fucking disgrace
-
optimistic, I don't think theres a hope he'll walk and the clubs not going to sack him because that would make the reporter right and the club can be very petty/stupid when it comes to spiting the press
-
can't think of what manager who might be capable of changing things who would be daft/desperate enough to come here with only 10 games to go, the time to replace the manager was post chelsea
-
almost no manager would walk tbh, partly because to get that kind of job you need rather a lot of self belief etc so always think you can turn it around, partly because money who'd turn down a large payoff?
-
Actions speak louder than words and that "performance" showed what the players really think of him
-
ah Arsenal

good grief Riviere.............
