  1. in theory maximum value he'd get for the club
  2. does the championship count as winning something?
  3. well that was unexpected
  4. barely played in over a year and De Gea is basically the reason man utd got into the champions league, god only knows where they'd be without him
  5. he'd be expensive enough to replace so theres no way the money men will allow him to stay while he won't sign a new deal
  6. Arsenal 2-0 West Brom Aston Villa 1-2 Burnley Chelsea 1-0 Sunderland Crystal Palace 2-1 Swansea Everton 2-1 Spurs Hull 1-1 Man Utd Leicester 2-1 QPR Man City 2-0 Southampton Newcastle 0-2 West Ham Stoke 2-1 Liverpool
  7. He's got until 2017 on his current 35k a week deal. Why does he need to force a move now? moneymoneymoneymoneysittingonthebenchmoneymoneymoneymoney Liverpool are offering him more than that ffs. He's gonna get more money if he stays or goes. Like I said previously, surely loyalty would be seeing him run his contract out. Only problem is Liverpool would shit themselves if he did this and do anything to flog him. yep and in all probability this window is the best chance to sell him for maximum value. He'd probably get hammered if he saw his contract out and moved on a free to somewhere outside england (no compensation in that scenario)
  8. he and his agent will know the going rate on offer for his services, Liverpool clearly haven't matched this and in terms of on the pitch ambitions they've gone massively backwards so its hardly a surprise for him to think he can do better elsewhere.
  9. of coarse that relies on us getting a point which seems optimistic
  10. not sure if I actually want us to go down totally but part of me does just because this club deserves it on a purely sporting level, it feels wrong to not bother even pretending to compete for half a season and somehow stay up while Burnley who tried their best to compete but failed go down.
  11. So by going down the price for the club would go up? The club is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it regardless of how much money Ashley has put in. And he'll only sell if he wants to. You can't have a tighter grip than what he already has. he's not likely to sell it in the championship and he can afford to keep it running until its back in the prem
  12. well it might be to get at the players/staff and give them what they deserve
  13. yep, don't care how shit Carver may be at his current job (and for the record he looks plenty shit) the least expected of them is to fucking try but no too much hard work for them to give that a chance.
  14. won't matter if arsenal beat them tomorrow arsenal will have at least third guaranteed.
  15. its been feeling like that for a while now mainly because of Leicesters sudden 6 wins out of 8 (?) when they looked dead and buried
  16. a plane saying in rodgers we trust now.
  17. Fuck that. there are plenty of chances to see Pardew lose if thats what you like, but this chance to spoil the grand stevie g farewell is a one off
  18. come on palace spoil this shit
  19. all depends on how interested Manchester United are,
  20. 3-1 Norwich, that should be that
