  1. Had a lot of injury problems at Inter I recall. yep big enough ones iirc. No doubt the main reason he hasn't lived up to his early promise as a player
  2. I'm rather more cynical about that, I'm fairly certain that if a certain level of club was interested he'd already be gone but they don't appear to be terribly interested at the moment and the only way to get them interested is by playing and having a big influence on a regular basis on games.
  3. not while theres compensation involved.
  4. If he's instructed his agent that he's staying put then there will be very little in the way of false press speculation... find that line of thinking difficult to believe unless he likes the idea of playing with the reserves for a year. At the very least you'd expect him to be looking for a loan move to actually play games. I'm sure he'd rather be playing, but it's not in his hands. He can easily see out the remaining year on his contract then have a much bigger pool of clubs to choose from in January. It's Pardew who's cutting his nose off to spite his face here. And a much bigger salary/signing on fee if he is on a Bosman. Bit of a no-brainer really for HBA. hence the logic of a loan deal, run down the contract while putting yourself in a shop window so to speak. A year without football does not increase his chances of getting a bigger salary and a nice signing on fee.
  5. most likely. Ugh can't stand him.

  7. need to do something, lost 3 out of 3 with some nasty fixtures coming up, Derby, Cardiff, Reading, Forest and Blackburn as their next 5 games.
  8. and generously promised never to bite anyone again. The fact such a promise is even necessary says it all
  9. article implies we'd use richards as a cb and need to get rid of one before we could bring him in. As I recall he hasn't played cb in a while and isn't very good at it. Sinclair in theory is good but fact is he couldn't break into a absolute rubbish wba team last season and I wouldn't bother with him
  10. Misleading what? He has already worn #14 so its obviously not squad number related. What is it about? Ex mackems playing for us or something? players who've played for both clubs
  11. tend to agree, he's played well out wide and he can get more opportunity to use his pace out there than a crowded middle
  12. usual mixed bag for me, his physicality and pace brings a lot to the table but his technique let him down
  13. almost the perfect debut but great block tbf. Could see him making a big impact off the bench (at first)
  14. competed well against the rather brilliant midfield City have, more of the same please
  15. lovely finish, why the hell did Swansea loan out Ki to begin with?
  16. their choice of cbs is fairly shit, Jones and Smalling haven't come on at all since they joined man utd and evans is steady without being brilliant.
  17. either that or someone spat in it.
  18. Victor Moses on loan to Stoke.
