thats daft even by twitters standards. That said while it wouldn't be funny in one sense (ie sympathy for Carroll) I would find it funny in how screwed Allerdyce would be
-
probably this unless Man Utd or someone go insane and desperate in jan and offer stupidly large amounts around obviously.
-
strange day even for this thread

Sure, but that's specific to the fact they've made a mistake in this individual instance. You referred to this instance specifically...Lukaku is a very good player, he wants to play every game, Chelsea couldn't guarantee that but want to keep him, so they've loaned him out. I can see it from both points of view, but if the system is to continue then we should be utilising it more. its this bit I find insane, how the hell could they not guarantee gametime with what they have up front.
-
how the hell does Evra keep scoring headers on corners
-
because they'll never have as good an opportunity as now. The big sides are in a bit of chaos (other than Arsenal who'll find a way to screw up before long) and a lot more vulnerable than they have been in a long time.
-
failure to get into the champions league would be disastrous and they haven't had a single performance this season that makes them look a Champions League level side.

superbly taken by Campbell

well well well

No chance, imo. They're 4 points off 2nd. they haven't impressed in the slightest this season can't score goals despite loads of shot and they're after spending £100m not to mention 6-0 is a horrific result for any manager I think Levy knows it will take some time for all the new players to gel. Levy's also been fairly quick on the sack him button a lot and its the goals scored that will concern him most of all despite having spent 25m odd on Soldado who's been poor and plenty of players who should have been able to fill the gap left by Bale between them, instead it looks slow ponderous and very very dull and not all that effective relying a lot on luck in some games like Hull where they get dodgy pens to bail them out of a poor performance.

could definitely see AVB sacked by tomorrow evening
-
nope it just hard to keep defending someone after coming up on a season and a half of poor-shocking performances with the odd good game where he scores and even thats dried up.
-
that red card was completely legitimate and correct
-
Don't hate him but can see he's on the way down and don't think our most balanced and solid back 4 includes him anymore. All about partnerships at the end of the day and Williamson and Mapou feed of each other better and Mapou needs to play being Colo's deemed successor and all. bingo. He's been great for the club (mostly) while he's been here but both sides would be best served if he left (thats of coarse assuming we replace him with an improvement on Williamson which is a laughable thought)
-
must say I forgot he existed.
-
Was it he or Fat Freddie who signed Barton because that was a disastrous signing as well, one good 6 month period where he just aimed at Carroll and the rest of the time he was either injured, suspended or in jail not to mention the horrific PR
-
right now he's all he has goalscoring wise/any kind of inspiration wise so its not surprising. Beyond belief he spent £10m on Downing when it was obvious they needed cover for a very injury prone Carroll.
-
I never got how he achieved media darling status to begin with when hes just at best your bang average hoof merchant and theres nothing progressive about his football in the slightest even in any kind of young english policy (his tendency has been older players)
-
job done and only a couple of points off the top 4 so all good.
-
oh dear Fulham 1-0 down
