    Danny Guthrie

as opposed to colo's wage perhaps, or renegotiating ba's deal to get rid of pesky clauses, or bringing in someone else for the starting XI on smiths entire wage. it just doesn't work that way man! split it, 10k to Guthrie, 20k to Ba onto his basic wage instead of appearance fee based one, 20k to Colo's contract and 10k to some young player we can bring in simples
  6. tbh theres many a rather dislikeable team in the prem Leffe, in particular, has been pissing me off in this forum tbh. Hate finding Spurs fans you don't despise :lol; I have a lot of time for Arsenal and Fulham, but small sections of fans/individual players of clubs will always do something that pisses off opposition fans on a large scale if they're in the same division for long enough. My like/dislike of Arsenal depends on how long since we've played them because I forget at times what a whiny bunch of spoiled brats they're players and Wenger in particular are at times, on the other hand Arsenal is one of the few clubs actually trying to do things the right way ie not buy success and try and bring young players through which gets them in my good book. Fulham are just a nice pleasant club which is hard to find any reason to dislike

  8. kind of agree with playing Obertan, crossing/hitting balls into the box won't work against Fulham with Hangeland back there so Raylor isn't all that useful on the right side in that scenario
  9. could also mean very good potential which I'd be happy with
  10. wouldn't say he's their best player in the side, Faurlin looks damn good but on paper QPR's current best player available yes.
  11. Qatar chose to buy the WC, can't say I feel the slightest bit sorry for them. fingers crossed they refuse and the WC gets handed to someone with the infrastructure and no so backward laws. the change in tax laws are a condition of taking the world cup so they keep all the massive revenue the World Cup gives them. The way FIFA is run in every possible way is wrong but the FA's everywhere are too on the take/cowardly to challenge them, sad to say the only way I can see FIFA being forced to change is if the big European clubs get pissed off enough to just say to hell with FIFA and not release any of their players for internationals anymore
  12. while I don't disagree with the falling out with Hughes bit the problem will be just where the hell can he go now? He is no doubt picking up stupid wages at QPR which no side who would actually take him could afford and also there wasn't exactly a load of clubs willing to take him for nothing after a rather good season with us

would require a massive change of rules to allow it I'd say since I recall some rule against the same person/organisation owning 2 different clubs not to mention restrictions on the amount of loans a club can have. But certainly any big club in a locality should so as much as possible to help out the smaller ones around it as much as permissible
  15. heard about that, FIFA is just an evil organisation, they had to consent to leave Brazil with its over 65's discount for the world cup as well. Frankly the way FIFA basically takes control of a countrys laws for a month and doddles off without a single penny of tax going to the host country who had to foot the massive bill of stadium construction is disgusting.

in a purely cold logical standpoint its a good idea, however the day football becomes simply cold and logical is a dark one indeed obviously there needs to be some reform of the reserve league but this isn't the answer, one thing I'd think to reform the reserve level at least at prem level is to keep it as one league rather than the current split one also while checking it out I didn't realise City haven't entered the reserve league which I personally find strange
  17. Christ its actually come to the point of sympathising with Warnock for having dealt with Barton
  18. £15m plus? when your record transfer is what 17m? yeah hard to believe
