    Copa América

    holy crap 2-1 Paraguay
  2. Don't know about City but the journalists seem to think that while Liverpool rate Enrique going forward, they have concerns about his defending. you know a pair of friends of mine (one a Liverpool supporter) said the exact same thing then again neither rates Colo either so they know nothing about football (among the things said was worst cb he's ever seen from one) How is it possible not to notice Enrique's defensive qualities and Colo's solid season.. It's Enrique's offensive play that needs improvement. seemed a bit of notice they weren't that good at first and stick with that no matter whatever other evidence is shown to you

  7. didn't he turn down one of those from Spurs if so why would he go to Stoke and don't Stoke have enough defenders without trying to get him and Dann in or is Pulis fixed on signing centre backs and tall powerful strikers with limited skill mostly More chance of playing at Stoke if he's fit I would have thought. if he's fit he's miles better than the rest of what Spurs have imho
  8. and seems averse to the entire idea of a real full back god I hate Stoke so much

  10. With the bad blood between Ashley and Whelan, even if we were interested I think Whelan would rather sell to anyone other than us. The bad blood didn't stop Whelan buying from Ashley in the first place tbf. nope business is business after all, no doubt why us and every other club is playing the waiting game on him

    Sunderland...

Why would they remember? They have Asamoah Gyan who despite having a worse goals to game ratio than Ba is better than any striker we have! barely better than our dear Shola
  12. hardly difficult, only proven prem level striker we've produced since Keane was Kevin Doyle
  13. Yep - He'd be better off financially and probably in terms of options too by waiting the year and seeing his contract out. Evra will be 31 next summer as will Ashley Cole - both Chelsea and Man Utd may like the idea of taking him for nothing next year with a view to bedding him in the following season and eventually make him first choice. If he's not up to it at their level, then flog him for a good profit. on the other hand its a lot of time to show we mean business and get him to stay
  14. i think its reassuring at least theres a few backup plans ready
  15. what else have we to talk about........
