There's still a big gaping hole up front left from Bent and his goals that Wickham won't be filling for the time being at least. Midfield's probably improved though. Defence I don't really know other than they've lost that Man City lad at RB and are yet to replace him, I think Bardsley's the only fullback they currently have. So basically they've not even done that yet.

Sounds as if he really wants to have a go at the cups this season.

I have said that the Cabaye thread is cringeworthy becuse the majority on there have never even seen him play,EVER. How many times have you seen him play Sewelly? To be honest, this one statement has just shown that you are nothing but a troll as not even a fan from a promoted side facing certain relegation, or Championship middling side, could make that statement. Yes,Wickham is the physical striker and will provide the space for our flair players like Gyan and Sessegnon to do their thing.Just ask Mr Coloccini how physical Wickham is after the way young Connor give him the runaround not much than a year ago. He's very overrated though, eh?

I had this discussion on here before when Newcastle were linked with him and my opinion is still the same,IMO he is very over-rated and if he is coming to be our main striker then I'd be very,very worried. Best thing for him would be to stop at Ipswich for at least another season and get some experience,he has only been starting games properly for about a year and would have to improve massively to start games for Liverpool or any other mid-table PL team for that matter. Hmm... how worried Wearside?

Was Pulis at Stoke wasn't it? I seem to remember seeing us (Coloccini) using them in that game in the relegation season when Carroll scored for some reason.
