In reality Nolan is the only one who has gone, Barton and Tiote (who absolutely dominated the midfield) are still here, and Cabaye is apparently a bit of a 'hard lad' aswel from what i've read. Apparently Cabaye plays as a holding midfielder but with a lot of lay offs/switches, assists etc etc Didn't he get an impressive amount of goals the season before last too? Seems to be a bit of an all rounder.

Pardew spoke of looking to get two more in and specifically said he thought one would come in soon, but the other probably wouldn't be here until after the season started. I think the later one is likely to be Zoggy and we're purposely stalling, trying the drive down the price. If this happens it'll be a deadline day job.

If they've got something of a patchwork team after the departure of Clichy, Nasri and possibly Cesc come the first day I'd fancy our chances. Ben Arfa against their shaky defence should be a good watch.
