We had Carroll who offers a safe outlet which helps the whole team when the pressure's on, then Tiote in Midfield who protects the defence and works tirelessly. We Have Best and Guthrie in those respective positions today.

This is definitely one game where Tiote is going to be missed massively. Lennon, Modric, Pienaar and VdV will all outrun and outplay our midfield.

It's a shame Bassong left to warm their bench, him and a settled Colo would've provided us a brilliant and stable CB pairing. Along with Simpson and Jose we'd have had one hell of a back 4.
