If it wasn't for the lack of cover I'd be happy with a loan move, gives him another 6 month to regain form and confidence in a title topping team allowing us to re-asses the situation when he returns.
-
Hatem. I've always thought of him playing a role similar to VdV at Spurs. Even so, if Barton or Jonas pick up an injury before he's back we've no cover bar youngsters.
-
Surely this leaves us with only one senior out and out winger in Jonas? Strange.
-
He was one of many who ran onto the pitch. A couple ran from the east stand with FTM flags, past all us in the South Stand, and were let in the west stand no bother by the stewards. The lad is obviously the worst example but, he is being used to deflect the attention away from the fact there were numbers of others. Was even worse a couple years ago when they actually won.
-
What's worse: the suggestion they could get Cavani, or the apparent logic of why it's realistic? Also, they're comparing VdV going to Spurs as an example of why Sunderland should be able to go for the likes of Cavani, Negredo etc. f***ing hell. He's only on loan at Napoli? Never knew that, why did Palmero let that happen?

Seems to have been deleted. http://www.facebook.com/joseenriquee José Enrique is GONE!

Souness got rid of him when he came in and appointed Dean Saunders instead.

Is that the all new revised relegation zone? No, but for us to finish in the bottom 3 at least 4 of the bottom 6 would have to overtake us.

There's the "No no, no no no no, no no Kevin Nolan" one to the tune of 2 Unlimited (I think it's them anyway!) "We all live in Kevin Nolan's house, Kevin Nolan's house!" . No,no,no... is the main one though.
-
Doubt it, bid accepted and in Birmingham now, much further down the line than Rooney or Tevez
-
Talking of the Magpie, that horse-face craic about someone releasing it half way through the game is complete and utter bullshit. Was on the pitch when we got there and I can even remember their mascot trying to scare it away before the players came out to no avail.
-
Out of curiosity, what does it mean to "have 2 A-levels"? Did he obtain a passing grade in only two subjects, or did he only study two subjects? Probably only studied 2 subjects, A-Levels are taken normally between the age of 16-18 at which time he'd of been playing for the youths/reserves as well.
-
Didn't see him chucked out but was getting sung once everyone sussed him.
-
Er, Tino WAS there... stood 5 along from me.
-
He's quicker than Lampard. It's not all about pace if his vision and passing range is as good as you say. Lampard seems to get into more dangerous areas but I don't think technique wise he's anywhere near as good as Barton. Poor man's Nolan.

Great day out even if their equaliser left a bitter taste. Away support brilliant as ever. Was 5 seats along from Tino before he got chucked out, was brilliant to see him. First time I've been there for a match and genuinely taken aback at how backwards that place and the people are though, don't think I could stand alongside their embarrassing support week in week out.
-
Going there for a match for the 1st time today, I realised they were mongs but, didn't realise how backwards they were and what a large proportion they make up of the crowd. Actually taken aback. Even if we'd of lost I could've taken solace in the fact I don't have to be part of there home crowd ever.

No-one's explained Boumsong's intelligence yet?

Our own Shola Ameobi has 11 GCSE's and 2 A-Levels. Never knew that nor would I of guessed it by watching him. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/jan/15/newcastle-shola-ameobi-sunderland?
