Williamson at times yesterday was poor. Loven constantly s*** Nolan was non existant And yet again Jonas cannot take a man on. Always has to use Jose. And if Jose has the ball he stands 2 yeards away from him which doesn't make it hard for the defenders to recover. Like Ronalod said great athlete s*** footballer.

Good post. After travelling home from the game yesterday i said yep a point will do. However, when i looked at the table this morning without hazy vision from the night before i was worried. The strikes (again) were non existant. They never really start to react to anything until it happens. This is why Ranger needs to be closer to the first XI. The wing play was poor yet the play to get the ball to the byline was very good. I forgot Nolan was playing a times. I feel its going to be a long 12 games but like Otter posted there's 7 teams worse of us than us atm.

Hopefully I get a back row seat so I can stand

Bit unfair on people already in L4, if i currently sat there id gladly tell anyone trying to ask me to move to kindly f**k off. Then they can't complain if people sing and stand then. And tbf i've been moved twice in 3 seasons now

Ok. best thing to do once you've had your meetings imo is to tell the Mag/True Faith/NUFC.COM and to post on newcastle forums that the new 'unofficial' singing section will be in Leazes Level 4. If we can get even just 1000 who are willing to STAND and sing within a season people will probably move there anyway My ST is in the NW corner and can't help but feel by making that the new singing section, it will cause huge problems with the current ST holders. The guy next to me constantly gets annoyed if someone gets up to go to the toilet, I dread to think of the reaction if someone decided to stand up in front of him all game. I can see what you mean. But unfortunately for him and others up to 3000 fans may be having to move, and apparently that is the lowest area of ST holders. How do you feel about the move Ash? Would you be up for people moving to Level 4? Will others around you be ok with it? Is the NW corner quite a young population or more elderly? We're not looking to move to Level 1 or 2 remember if thats where you are. Apologies if you are in Level 4 though

06-07 was an awful squad. 08-09 wasn't that bad a squad just full of mercenaries which has been well doucmented on this board mnay times

Well done jordan:) any idea whether or not they will make a new official singing section?

What about north east corner? If not for me atm i'm leaning towards level 4 mind. Yes the gallowgate noise would be good combined. But it would be great to have two noisy stands

In hindsight it really is just a course for absolute basics. Level 2 is canny hard. Level 3 must be an even bigger step up! Would love to try those youth awards eventually. Just to bed to the cv

Ali i would reccomend it! The first badger you cannot fail unless you say F*** or C*** in your assessment! I applied around clubs for volunteer work in June 2009 when i was still 15. A few clubs thought i was too young, then Whitley Bay asked if i would help them out. Obviously i jumped at the chance and it's been great since then. In November 2009 i took my 1st level. All paid for. Then in July 2010 i started my Level 2. I paid halfers with the club. You can do the level 1 without being at a club but to save you £100 and to gain the experience i would look for clubs in your area. I take it you live in Northumberland/Tyne so click on this link to help find a club http://www.northumberlandfa.com/GetIntoFootball/FindAClub/

So why haven't H&S stopped the standing there? Is it because they're top 4 clubs? Because the clubs don't officially allow it, I imagine. Have a few stewards ask a few thousand people to sit down once or twice a match and the club can claim they're policing it. So obviously don't bring it up. They tried and failed before with those leaflets last season. I imagine they will do the same half hearted attempt If we were to move. We should be ok.

- Was the clubs decision to extend the family enclosure based on the fact there's a large number of people under the age of 21 and/or families sitting there? - Do the club understand the benefit that a singing section can have on performances on the pitch? - Would the club try to block any attempts by fans to set up an unofficial singing section if they're unable to support us in setting up a new one? If so, why? Are they even able to answer that? If they say "no" then it will be construed as the club giving their blessing, which won't go down well with the H&SE They're socially and professionally obliged to be negative towards the idea as public safety has to be paramount inside the stadium, even at the expense of common sense. What's dangerous about singing? You know fine well that standing goes hand in hand with any potential new 'singing section'. I know fine well? Christ, it's like talking to my bloody mother Standing will happen at football regardless of whether there's a singing section or not. The club can tell the stewards to police it as strictly as they see fit/are required and I've no doubt they will if it's that much of an issue for them. On a personal level I enjoy standing at football, mainly because it's baffling that anyone can deem it unsafe and I also find seating at football stadia incredibly uncomfortable. Unless it's upholstered, cushioned and massages your back then I don't want to f***ing know. However standing is not the be all and end all for me, I would just want to sit in an area of the ground where I wont get looked at like I'm having a w*** at a wedding if I have a singsong. That fine with you, daft lad? Standing isn't an issue tbh. If the club brings it up you could argue that the Stretford End at Man Utd are always standing. Chelsea fans are always standing. The Kop i believe always stand. So that would be my reply. Don't mention the standing though I remember when the singing section was brought in Chirs Mort said it was his intention to eventually reward the fans in the 'singing section' if it went well and to move them lower down to help generate an even better atmosphere. So in that way it could be good. BUT ONLY if i can stay with those who want to sing. I don't want those fans be dotted around and effectively lose 3000 fans worht of singing. Leazes Level 4 could be good as there's always empty seats there And if it became the new singing section it's rarely in camera view anyway. Upper Gallowgate is ok. No camera view, more noise from roof. Personally i'd prefer Leazes 4 or the Strawberry Corner. For watching the match i love the corner view fwiw
-
I'm just talking about banter. Not wasting all my energy watching the away fans.
-
For noise? probably. For view? no. Banter with away fans? Yes. It's a tough one. I'll be a sheep

A few people i am friendly with who have seaosn tickets are really warming to him like
-
Including what Pav has said. I'm getting sick of becoming frienndly with people around me only for them to be moved again :/ Yes you can get the supporters numbers of those immediatley around you etc. But not for all the people you regulalrly have seen over the past decade and say a quick hello to on the way to your seat.

Good luck. Someone on my uni course got into the Foundation after the tutor put a word in for him. He didn't put a word in for anyone else, which has caused a bit of a rift. Keith Douglas?
-
Can we make a poll for those in Level 7 asking where they will prefer to move? It will jsut make things easier for all of us. I'd rather not be at the other end of the ground to where all the noise is. If most Leazes Cornerers are moving to the Gallowgate Upper Tier i would most liekly move there too.

Doing my Recruitment Day for the Foundation in a few weeks. Having to do a session infront of the coaches at the Training Academy. Bit nervous like!
