And clean shaven as Brian Clough would say

Short is better on him tbh

The amount of players 'injured' for today is rather fishy tbh

If I remember rightly I am sure I done defending for 4 linked sessions. Other ideas for sessions could be attacking building it up from 1v1 to 2v1 all the way up to the SSG. Passing is another good one you can work out over the 4 sessions as you can start with simple short passing, using it in SSG's then long passing and being able to challenge your players in picking the right passes at the right times. Cheers Caz The reason i don't want to defending is that 2 other coaches have already done it. It was at the 1st refresher session and only 6 turned up, so i'd prefer to do something a bit different. And of an attacking element. Already starting to get nervous about what Assessment topic i get

Standing definitely helps, but as you say it's only part of the issue. I started going to games in 95, by which time it was all-seated, and the atmosphere was way better. Expansion had a big role I think. I started going in 93/94 and it was deafening most of the time You could hear the noise from Novos RFC on a match day in Benton on a Saturday. The level of football must have really helped get the crowd going etc, and it wasn't long after the Taylor Report so that atmospheric feel still would have been in the minds of supporters.

Lovencrap? Classy way to decribe an honest pro who was key to getting us promoted. And people wonder why our "fans" attract derision from elsewhere... Ignore him.... this is the same person that once said that he thinks Alan Shearer wants NUFC to be successful only when he's involved.

Caz: I need some help with my Progressive 4 part coaching in Level 2. Any ideas instead of defending? Thanks

Well said. For me, it annoys me when everybody's up for singning and chanting when we play Sunderland or when we're winning comfotably, but if its any other day you mihgt get 2 or 3 chants at most from the Gallowgate and the LC does the rest. Ashley's now made the LC worse this season which obviously worsens at the atmosphere. IMO, the LC needs to be moved down a Level to underneath where it is now, in the North West Corner. Those seats are always pretty much empty and the noise that bit closer to the pitch would be of great help.

All that i'm worried about is when the end of this month/December kicks in. It's is going to be very hard

Two good 10 minute spells yesterday, but overall very flat and not good enough. Obviously no Plan B which has been pointed out recently along with desperate need for RM and CF. Very little down the right hand side. Simpson needs to have a bit more confidence when attacking, because he has the ability to whip in a decent cross. Guthrie is not a RM, Jonas is boling my p*** at the moment. Enrique does all the work, and i've noticed Jonas just gives up after losing the ball a hell of a lot. Very average performance, and the reliance on Carroll is getting embarrassing
