Any sensible board isn't going to openly undermine its own manager by saying he's getting the pink slip in a few months. They have to at least feign that he has a chance of getting the job if he does well enough.

Kroos off, he's been a shadow of the player he was 3-4 months ago. Not entirely his fault.
