  1. Atlético down to 10 men and struggling to beat Espanyol. Will fall to 4th place if it finishes like this.
  2. Espanyol's captain Sergio García and four other players from Betis and Osasuna now charged with accepting bribes.
  3. f***, it's tough being so right so much of the time. Moyes is more proven. Martinez is not Keegan. Bold stuff there. What do you think is going wrong with Everton this season? The dropoff in league performance is quite steep; in the couple or so games I have seen it looked like the side is completely bereft of confidence, but I suppose there's more than that.

I think Pardew Carver is a calamity, but I can show you Guardiola and Cruyff coming out with similar quotes before Barça games. EDIT: Corrected NUFC's coach name, damn Freudian slip
  5. Martinez needs to bite the bullet and realise that like how Allardyce needs an attacking coach to help him, he needs a defensive one. Moyes had drilled them into one of the best defensive units in the league, but now he's gone, and in their first year, they were still good defensively. Due to this mixture, they were pretty much near the top And now... they aren't Honestly, I rate Koeman much higher than Martinez, and Moyes as well Christ, do people every learn. This is a message to everybody on this forum. STOP f***ing JUDGING MANAGERS ON ONE SEASON. I wouldn't be surprised if Koeman had a bad season next season either. It happens every season. Some team has a good season. All of a sudden their manager is a brilliant manager. The next season they struggle and people then think he's a s*** manager. I've been consistent in my views on Martinez that I wasn't going to call him a brilliant manager based on last season given his past achievements and I think I've been proven right so far This isn't Koeman's first good season, he was brilliant with Feyenoord too And has been terrible for a number of teams too. People in Valencia still run for shelter if you shout his name near them.
  6. But Moyes wasn't having relegation seasons for Everton towards the end, was he? Sociedad brought him in to save them from relegation, I think he's doing his job He's 6 points above relegation and 18 behind European places. That's not Real Sociedad's place. I'm not judging him yet though, he's in a complete new environment for him in a team that he didn't build.
  7. Moyes is merely being "meh" for Real Sociedad, so I think the current answer to the poll is "neither".
  8. Krohn-Dehli has agreed a contract with Sevilla and undergone a medical, according to Marca. He's getting on but he's been great for Celta, deserves a shot in a bigger team.
  9. Real Madrid calling a press conference just now
  10. I can't see England not sending a single team to the Q/F, so I feel uneasy for our game next week
  11. Serves Mou right. Go one up, defend. Dour cunt.
  12. I have heard my neighbors scream at that goal, I have seen Barça goals with less celebration than that
  13. People in my building celebrated the goal Mou hatred still runs strong.
  14. He's reportedly getting €9m/year at PSG. We were never going to pay that kind of money for a player we're looking to replace. I guess we'll tie up somebody for January and just tread along with Montoya and Douglas for five months.
  15. Dani Alves signs for PSG. Gonna be fun watching our RB until the 2016 January window.

Clubs are singular in Spanish, too, that's why I usually slip into "Newcastle IS" when posting on here.

    That TL;DR gif is fantastic
  18. Not everybody needs to spend the whole game chasing the opposition down in a Simeone team. Diego was a lazyarse, played pretty much where Mata would, and figured heavily in his plans last season.

Die in a fire, you old c***. So, in order to defend the current setup, he gives a personal example that actually doesn't support the current setup (he had full control of that transfer and it went well), but makes him look good.
  20. Heavily linked with Atlético. Would be an amazing signing for them. They lack guile going forward, and depend too much on Griezmann for that.
  21. It's pretty much a given that Real Madrid's next manager will be Zinedine Zidane; Florentino Pérez loves him and he's been groomed for the role. They won't sack Ancelotti now, though.

Red Bulls or New Manchester City? I mean, you gotta pick one right? I'm not happy about it at all. Even the Cosmos got fucking Raúl playing for them. New York is a harsh mistress to me.
