Don't pin that on us, flip. Also, five Brazilians? That's probably the most we've ever had in our squad, surely.
-
It seems to me your FA is going the completely wrong way in order to address your national team's issues. Imposing squad slots for English players is going to help out the Steven Taylors of the world rather than the Aaronses. Good players will always succeed; reform should come at a lower level, imho.

We have pretty much the same fixtures except that we have yet to play Atlético, and that Espanyol will give quite a bit extra against us. If we win one of the two and match Madrid's results elsewhere, we win this thing.
-
Celebration booze it is! Not a good game from us, but somehow we could have got a few more. Both us and Madrid are vastly unbalanced sides.
-
He's Spanish, that's a common mistake for us to make when speaking English since football clubs are singular for us.
-
That Madrid midfield as well I don't t know who's supposed to recycle possession in there though. Modric back is a massive boost, mind.

Five times this season already!

Off to some mates' place to watch El Clásico. We win, we get wasted to celebrate; we lose, we get wasted to forget it. I'm still unsure whether this is a win-win or lose-lose proposition.

Zouma on for Willian, gotta protect that lead against mighty Hull.

70 with Hazard and Fàbregas to play, and I'm still down one in the N-O league. This place is too elite for me -
Shola eclipse of the heart.

In stitches at this Definitely going to call ISIS that from now on.

Eh? It looks like one of the most predictable. They haven't lost to Real in 8 games within 90 minutes? The first leg in the Copa del Rey last year? Slighty off topic but a good run in the Europa league would've been great for Liverpool long-term. The young squad will know what it feels like to run deep in Europe - managing ties over 2 legs. So? It still could go either way. You are absolutely nuts if you think Monaco v Juve and Bayern v Porto could go either way too ( sorry it was Nobody who said that, but still point stands) PSG don't really have much have a hope tbh, Barca are just too good for them especially with Ibra and Veratti suspended. Well, they beat us at the Parc des Princes - although we're in much better form than then.
-
I presume they aren't drawing the semis today?
-
Decent draw, although I dislike playing the same team so many times in a season. Last time this happened Inter put us out of the CL... Atlético are 6-0-0 against Real Madrid this season. Would be pure Atlético if they went on to lose the two more meaningful games of the lot.

Sid Lowe provides an excellent - as usual - writeup on the match fixing investigations currently underway in Spain. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/mar/17/spain-finally-fighting-match-fixing He only misses the fact that until very recently Spanish authorities had their hands tied due to our legislation. Match fixing is now considered a fraud and that's why you see our prosecutors finally going after it.

It may be sour grapes after going out because of it, but Wenger is calling for abolishing the away goals rule. What's your take on this, people? http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/31958105 I like the away goals rule; I understand it may seem unfair but I'm afraid doing away with it it will motivate too many away sides to defend in two-legged cup games, and just try to exploit the home advantage to win the tie.
-
Will they protect them from being drawn against each other in the Q/Fs too?
-
Just saw the Everton result. What the fuck?

Guy at the bar had 2-0 Rakitic FGS. He almost died

Wew.

I have been afraid of this game since we missed that pen in the first leg, it's the kind of s*** the football gods love to punish teams for. Shades of Messi missing in the semi against Chelsea when we were ahead. Plus I jinxed the game massively on another thread (can't remember which one).

We'll rue our missed chances, right?
