Heh, one good season and already wants off. Footballers... Clubs should be able to put reverse transfer requests and force overpaid cunts to leave their clubs after one bad season.
-
Maybe didn't want to uproot his family from Spain, didn't he become a dad recently? That's what it's claimed, that he didn't want to leave Spain. Plus he'll have a better chance of being picked for the WC playing in La Liga, imho.

Well, he's still unproven, but very highly rated. Not your usual Barça midfielder though, he's more a box-to-box centremid in the English mould. It's impossible that this is happening UNLESS a) Thiago stays or b) We are signing another midfielder.
-
We can't be loaning Sergi Roberto to Ajax. Where have you found that? He's too highly rated and everybody assumed he'd be in the first team next year.
-
Apparently Villa turned Spurs down, who offered more money. Might be our media doing damage control, mind.

Problem with Villa is that his fitness has declined drastically after his year-long injury, coupled with age. He's not a player that you can start both the weekend and then midweek CL ties. He usually was winded at around min 60 in any demanding fixture this year. Other than that, he's still an excellent player. Atlético only need one of Adrián and Baptistao to come good this season to have enough upfront to get by.

Anybody wants Piqué for €3m? Messi for €15m? Shola-Pedro player swap? f***ing hell, what a useless board.
-
Aye man, our transfer record overall is stuff of nightmares (except if you're an agent). Sometimes I wonder how the f*** can we be so successful. Well yeah, the 3-4 best players at the club came from our youth ranks, we'll be f***ed when our luck runs dry.
-
What a fucking bargain at that price, we just can't sell for shit Can't believe Spurs haven't gone for this if their interest was real. Massive discount.
-
Another for my rapist XI. Too many strikers though. Ranger seems to leave no stone unturned regarding fellonies/life mistakes.
-
Haidara/Anita/Mbiwa best cover we've got. It's enough imo. Don't rate Tav. That's two players out of position and only one natural backup though. Anyway, you know these players better than me.
-
It was an inquiry, not really a bid. Couldn't find the proper English word, sorry.
-
Real Madrid have had a bid for Balotelli turned down, according to "Il Corriere dello Sport".

Your avatar makes everything you post sound so depressing in my head

Aren't you a bit thin on depth for both FBs? Or are the kids good enough?

Benito Floro managing Canada was such a strange appointment. He had a brilliant spell in the early 90s, but hasn't reproduced it since, and has no experience at international level. Sometimes I pity all these low-rated national teams that get conned with our managerial hasbeens (Camacho, Clemente...)

And before froggy asks about Thiago, we return to training next Monday, so widely expected to be resolved during this week. There's no formal offer from ManU but it is understood that they'll just agree a contract with Thiago and then pay up the clause.
-
€27m against €30m according to our press here. So maybe they just rate Suárez more and thought that with a little more money they could have bagged him.
-
RM rejected their bid for Higuaín, so I guess he's getting desperate.
-
Barrada from Getafe to some Abu Dabi team for €10m. What a waste

Reading an absolutely chilling book from a Chilean journalist about the child-trafficking going on SA with youth football. It's shocking stuff. Horrifying. He tells the tale of how he himself was able to "buy" a young Chilean boy and then shop him around with a view to eventually sell him to an European team. You get to read about the underbelly of youth football and the crazy recollection of young footballers to get the next Messi for 200$ before anybody else does. And it isn't pretty. This is an excerpt I found online. Sadly it's not published in English, but I hope you can babelfish some sense out of it.

Aye, the new TV contract has given even the lowliest PL clubs some amazing pull, it seems.

Just found out the IFFHS has a table for this (national competitions only). Koeman first, Passarella indeed second, Hierro third. http://www.iffhs.de/?b4a390f03be4ac07cda14b45fdcdc3bfcdc0aec70aef05

Yeah I know he took pens at pretty much every club he was, but that's still a ridiculous record; he's 1 in 3 for all his career like
