Honestly, you have to think that Arsenal were more successful than us when he left Barça (we were just at the end of a 5-year trophy drought and they had the Invincibles at the top of their pomp), and now that the roles are reversed he wants back.

He isn't that big of a fan, at least according to people that knew him at his hometown (my bro works there). I do believe he's an outstanding player and want him here but also think he's pretty two-faced (if he was such a fan he wouldn't have left afterall).

Agreed. He's been absolutely rubbish. It'll be interesting to see how/if he'll be adapting to the PL. Never understood why they paid so much for what's essentially a youth player, the spotlight will kill his development imho.

Apart from Stoke's first season in the top flight I don't think he's been that instrumental for them (didn't watch them in the Championship though). He's a clogger of the highest calibre, they're essentially playing 10-men for the sake of his throws.
