  1. Never understood their mentality regarding this. Like it or not we share a region with them. There'll be more NUFC fans in Newcastle and more Sunderland fans in Sunderland. However people move around for a variety of reasons so you'll get NUFC fans living in and around Sunderland and vice versa. They take huge satisfaction that there's Sunderland fans living in and around Newcastle but great offence when it's the other way around. Just bizarre behaviour.
  2. Middlesbrough fan but he has a picture of a Sunderland player in his avatar
  3. It's just the mags unsettling them before their huge 3rd division play off game. Nothing to see here.
  4. They'll probably end up selling out with it being such a huge game for them but the stressing on RTG about it is fucking hilarious mind
  5. It's in London. There's hundreds of 1000s of hotel rooms in London and the surrounding areas. Tbf of all the excuses they've came out with hotel rooms haven't been mentioned. Anyway I dont see what that's got to do with them not selling out. I've been to Wembley 4 times to see Newcastle play there and only once have I stayed overnight.
  6. Looking like they're going to be out numbered at Wembley. Meltdown on RTG. Only managed to shift 27k tickets and Charlton are well past 30k. New excuses (other than wedding season) include; Ticket sales being badly organised Holiday season Wembo is now too far away The Don wont pay for their busses The players won't pay for their busses It's too short notice It's a Bank Holiday All the above have been put forward as genuine excuses on RTG!
  7. Sunderland v Doncaster Rovers then for a place in the Championship.
  8. I'm genuinely shocked at how poor the standard of the 3rd Division is. I watch quite a bit of Northern League and none of the 4 teams in the 3rd Division play offs would look out of place there.
  9. Relax. Best case scenario for them still sees them playing their football a division below us. 3 years ago they celebrated like they'd just won the Champions League when we had to play a season in the Championship and they'd have been gutted at the idea of them playing there.
  10. That's what I'm pinning my hopes on. Charlton finishing off Doncaster tomorrow and then beating the mackems at Wembley again.
  11. Apparently Pittman is doubtful tonight. Portsmouth had nothing up front without him. If he misses the game, as he's expected to, I can see the mackems going through fairly comfortably.
  12. Bamford has got one of those faces you would never tire of punching.
  13. It's getting difficult to register on there nowadays mind, I tried to get on with Cardinal Basil Fewm to discuss the Durham Cathedral outrage, but got knocked back.
  14. Pompey fan in peyce. Amazing stadium, huge club etc etc. https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/i-know-youve-had-enough.1473255/
  15. Guaranteed if they get through 40k unwashed cunts will be drinking warm cans of fosters in CG and TS though Pompey will see them off though I'm confident of it I think they'll beat Portsmouth, or at least get the draw they need. They are in terrible form as well and looked absolute shite on Saturday, even worse than Sunderland did. Shows how awful the standard of football is that far down the ladder when they were 2 of the top 5 teams in that league.
  16. Seriously though as much respect as I have for Chris Hughton he's spent something like £150m and that team he's assembled looks bloody awful! On the other hand when he took over he kept them in the Championship when they looked like going down, 2 years later he had them in the Premier League for the first time in their history, has kept them there for the past 2 seasons and this season he got them to their first FA Cup Semi Final for 36 years. No sentiment or loyalty in football any more though.
  17. They are an embarrassment mind. Biggest game of the season and they're struggling to half fill their ground.
  18. Newcastle United has always attracted huge support right across the North East down to North Yorkshire, up to the Scottish Borders and over to Cumbria. It comes with the territory of being the biggest club in the region.
  19. Surely not celebrating when the home team score outs anyone as an away fan though I'm 99% sure I had a Liverpool fan sat in front of me in the Gallowgate. He didn't celebrate their goals but he didn't celebrate ours either and he looked very uneasy when the outbreaks of trouble were happening around and about us but because he was keeping himself to himself nobody bothered him. He didn't take his seat for the 2nd half like.
  20. Football is a very tribal sport. For many people that's one of the reasons that makes it so appealing and sets it apart from every other sport out there. In saying that if you choose to sit in the wrong end it doesn't necessary have to be a problem if you behave in a decent manner and show respect to those around you. Indeed I've done it many times myself, even at Sunderland, and I've never experienced any problems because I've done just that. Many liverpool fans who had managed to get tickets in home sections on Saturday weren't respectful. In fact they were the total opposite and in many cases were antagonising home fans and inevitably they were met with angry responses and in some cases violence in the Gallowgate End in particular where most of the fighting broke out. Ultimately If you act up and deliberately provoke people you need to accept the consequences of what you are choosing to do and that's not just at the football, it could be down the pub or wherever. That's just the way of the world.
  21. Scouser about 6 seats from me in the Gallowgate Upper appeared to have his nose broken during the 2nd half and another was launched down a flight of stairs. Think there was a Liverpool fan sat in front of me as he appeared very edgy and didnt celebrate Atsu's goal. He also failed to reappear for the 2nd half. Never seen as much bother inside SJP in over 35 years of going to the match. Hopefully the so called NUFC fans who sold their tickets on are traced and banned and whoever made the decision to allow 300 away fans into the Platinum Club should be out of a job as well.
  22. He's ok when he sticks to the basics but when he tries to do the things that Schar can do, as he did a few times yesterday, it gets a bit embarrassing.
