Same ref who failed to send off David Luiz when Demba Ba was clean through on goal at SJP a few years ago which was a far more obvious red card than yesterday. I'm not saying there's any sort of vendetta against us but we get some rough treatment off certain officials, not least this prick. He looks about 60 so at least he should be up for retirement soon.

They aren't great but they're all mid/lower table PL players. Maybe one or two of them a bit better than that. Atsu is well below PL level though in my opinion. He was decent today though without actually doing anything of note.
-
Look forward to Dermott Gallagher tell us how he got all the major decisions correct tomorrow.
-
Bit of a disingenuous stat considering not many of those will be starts. He had a decent game today, really helped us at times today because he wants to play in the space between midfield and attack and other the Perez none of our other players are willing to play in there. He's nowhere near good enough to play at this level. What level? Most of our team aren't good enough for mid table Premier League level. I disagree. Dubravka, Schaar, Fernandez, Lascelles, Yedlin, Dummett, Ritchie, Kenedy, Ki, Diame, Shelvey and Rondon are all adequate/decent PL standard players. Atsu isn't.

The young uns need as much backing as they can possibly get. Only an idiot would suggest we throw them in there with no positive support behind them at all. Remember it's a first team game for Sunderland and you can guarantee it will pull in their biggest gate of the season. We should be looking to take as many tickets as possible.

That's now 23 games and counting without a goal or an assist to his name.
-
It's a penalty and a red card all day long. Even the Wolves lad in the studio put his hands up and admitted it.

Whereas for a fan of NUFC, it's all sunshine and lollipops. I know who's position I'd rather be in. Being in the 3rd Division and playing Accrington Stanley is embarrassing enough but having to host Newcastle United Juniors at home in the Checkatrade Trophy trumps even that. These were a Premier League club this time 2 years ago.
-
On the same day that they have to travel to Accrington Stanley for a league fixture they get drawn against Newcastle Under 21s in the Checkatrade Cup. Must be soul destroying being a Mackem.

I honestly don't think it will be. A few people bumping their gums on social media is as bad as it'll get for him.
-
Wouldn't happen at West Ham either.

I was just thinking this last night. For me the damage done is irrepairable and I don't think I'll be able to see the day where I'll be comfortable sitting amongst that set of fans again. They weren't prepared to fight for their club. They turned on the manager earlier in the season and they frequently turn against certain players but won't say anything against Ashley or Charnley. They won't walk in 11 minutes into a match because they "want to support the team" yet they'll storm out in a huff after 75 minutes because the team is getting beat. Obviously I'm not talking about the entire support, but a very large majority and they are people I dont have any desire to spend my spare time or mix with.

Looks like it's blown over.

Everton v Newcastle United - 05/12/18 @ 19:45 - No UK TV

Was that the game where Marveaux put in one of the most cowardly displays by any NUFC player ever and was subbed about 2 minutes after half time? Still not sure why Pardew thought it would be a good idea to give him a couple of minutes at the start of the 2nd half before subbing him rather than just do it at half time. -
"It won't work anyway" "Nobody is telling me what to do" Must have read both those statements a thousand times on Twitter the past couple of weeks. I'll be amazed if more than a few hundred participate in either of these protests. Depressing.

Burnley 1-2 Newcastle United - 26/11/18 - post match relief p23 onwards

I thought we desperately tried to get Ferdinand to stay but his mind was set on joining Spurs once we'd accepted their original bid. -
Looked brilliant again last night but Diame needs to take a lot of the credit as well for digging in and doing all the dirty work to allow Ki to play. There was a spell in the 1st half where you could hear the Burnley fans moaning and groaning because they couldn't get near our two central midfielders.
-
They must be losing interest. It's usually 50+.
-
Sad thing is it will. Any chance of either the walk in or boycott being any kind of success has now gone. Football fans are fickle by nature and ours are no different.
-
If Social media is anything to go by these 3 wins in a row we've clocked up have really taken the gloss off those heroic draws against Wycombe Wanderers and Wallsall.
-
You talking about the pinpoint cross he put over for our 2nd goal here? Never touched him for their last minute free kick either.

Need more from Rondon, Perez and Kenedy. Burnley are giving them so much space here. -

Headed into the bottom corner over the top of the keeper from 12 yards out. Goalkeeping error. -
They drew with Wallsall I've been following Newcastle for 35 years and I can never remember us being so bad that we had to play against Walsall. We have had to play the likes of Shrewsbury,Cambridge,Southend,Port Vale and Grimsby and also lost to Stevenage in the cup. Still never been as shit to be in 3rd tier though It must be galling for them to have had such a run and not be clear by any means As I say I still can never remember us being bad enough to have to play Walsall. Im sure they beat us in the cup in the mid 70s when we were a lower mid table top flight team and they were a middling third tier team. I wasn't born until 1978 and my first recollection of NUFC matches is from around 1983 so I'm 40 and can never remember us having to play against Walsall before, nor Wycombe Wanderers for that matter who they also failed to beat last week. I'm depressed following Newcastle but it must be utterly shite being a Mackem!
