  1. You clearly don't understand the word 'irony' do you? Nope, not at all. I just saw an idiot post two things which were stupid, its an easy assumption to think you meant them tbh I'd leave it there if I were you. You're starting to make a bit of a tit of yourself now

  3. Looks like we might break 50k against Plymouth http://www.nufc.talent-sport.co.uk/PagesPublic/ProductBrowse/standAndAreaSelection.aspx?stadium=NS&product=PAH10F&campaign=%20%20&type=H
  4. Thought it looked like there was over 50,000 for the Derby game because the only empty seats I could see were in the wings of the Milburn Stand and those same seats were empty when they were announcing 52,000 crowds when we were in the Premier League. No way was there only 47,500 there.
  5. And it was Juventus we needed the favour off.
  6. Well they definately haven't been selling tickets online in the old family section for the Boro match, or the upcoming home games with Derby, West Brom and Crystal Palace. I'd be astonished of Boro bring more than 2,000 up for the match as they have one of the worst away supports in the country. They have just put a section of the old family enclosure on public sale. Showing up as good availability in there now.

  8. I remember home games v Southampton and Charlton being postponed less than a couple of hours before kick off. Regarding the crowd for Sunday I can't see Middlesbrough bringing more than 2,000 which is quite frankly pathetic, so there's 1,000 taken off capacity and then there's the old family enclosure which used to be at the back of Leazes Level 4 which they changed to a corporate area and haven't sold any tickets in there this season, Sundays game included, which leaves another 1,500 empty seats so that brings the crowd down to below 50,000 straight away.
  9. 3,937 was the away following last night according to Coventrys official website.
  10. They took 8,000 and it wasn't one of Keanes 1st games in charge because it was towards the end of the season when they were very close to promotion.
  11. Sheff Wed also sold out now (more tickets requested) nearly 3 weeks before the match despite it being live on TV at a crappy time and no trains running on Boxing Day.
  12. 0-0 or 1-0 either way I reckon. They don't concede many, same as us, and they don't look particularly good going forward either, same as us. Atmosphere should be canny as i'm sure they'll make plenty of noise unlike quite a few other sets of supporters who have came up here, filled the away end, and then just sat in silence.

    Jonas Gutierrez

We were talking to some Preston fans after the match on Monday. Some of them thought he was MOTM and others said he was the worst Argentinian player they had ever seen, although to be fair we didn't play Preston when we had Daniel Cordone on the books.
  14. Chuffed to finish in the top 6? It's not like the other CCC sides have massive squads, we should be disappointed if we aren't automatic promotion favourites. We need a couple of players in on loan still to make that a probability, so if we can do that I think we'll be ok. Just look at the subs we brough on against Leicester. In a couple of months time they'll more than likely be starting matches because of the inevitable injuries and suspensions. I'm not saying they're bad players but they only have experience of playing reserve and junior fixtures on a regular basis in front of 1 man and his dog but we'll be relying on them to go out and get results for us at the likes of Boro and Sheff Utd. A tall order imo. The likes of Boro and Sheff Utd will get injuries as well though. Do you reckon Boro's or Sheff U's fourth choice striker is as good as Ranger? Reserve keeper as good as Krul? Back up left back as good as Kadar? Even without adding anybody we've still got one of the best squads in the division if not the best. Of course the other teams will get injuries but historically we seem to get more than most for some reason. I'm not sure if Sheff Utds 4th choice striker is as good as Ranger as Ranger hasn't played enough 1st team games for anyone to form an opinion of him, same goes for Kadar. What I do know is that just a small amount of investment in the summer could have almost guaranteed us promotion but Ashley decided against it. Time will tell if he made the right decision I suppose.

  16. 41 goals in 68 games for us just shows how bad he really was

    Our midfield

Our midfield has found its level in the Championship. If we were to get promoted most of them would need replaced ofr we'd come back down again.
  18. £15 for the Plymouth game according to .com. Cracking deal. The £15 tickets are in Leazes Corner and Milburn Stand level 7. It's £20 in the Gallowgate and Leazes which actually works out cheaper than the standard season ticket price divided by 23 home games so they'll probably only do it for 3 or 4 games but its a cracking offer and coupled with it being at 3pm on a Saturday should see a 40,000+ crowd no bother.
  19. When injuries/suspensions start to kick in and we're dipping into the reserves/juniors thats when I think the results will start to suffer. No way is this squad big enough to cope with 46 league games plus whatever we play in the FA and League Cups. Despite us being top at present, and deservedly so, i'd be chuffed to bits if we can finish the season in the top 6. Saying that, i'm thoroughly enjoying it so far - cheaper away tickets and the atmosphere at all 3 home games so far has been the best it's been for years - the 10,000 who have stopped coming must have been the moaners There's even a canny few of my mates who'd started drifting away from it in the past 2 or 3 seasons starting to come back and the Plymouth game will see around 12 to 15 of us in the 3 Bulls before the match when it was around 5 or 6 of us at times last season. After all would you rather spend £40 on a ticket in the Gallowgate to see us get humped 5-1 off Liverpool or £20 for the same seat to watch us play in a match we actually have a chance of winning?
  20. Preston made a statement at the start of the season saying that they would be moving their own fans out of the Kop stand they have at Deepdale for the visits of us and Blackpool to allow 6,000 away fans in. Think we could have took 6,000 down on a Saturday but it'll probably be nearer 4,000 now its on a Monday night. I'll still go cos' it's a ground i've never been to before.
