Must admit if I was paying £800 for a season ticket I'd probably be a bit pissed off as the standard definitely doesn't justify the cost but as a Firestick fan I think we need to persevere basically because of what he's already done and I wouldn't have a clue who to bring in to replace him. Also I do think there's a chance he can turn this around. However all you who pay to watch this rubbish. You have my sympathy. It's not great.

Pavel when he first arrived.

How was it today for those of you who were there?
-
We're pretty much the perfect opposition for a team like Sunderland to play.
-
How many times did he beat his man? How many dangerous balls did he put into the box? How many chances created? How many shots did he have on goal? They're all metrics we should be using for how well a winger has played. Honestly think the bar that some people set to say he's had an alright game is ridiculously low.

Utter shit. Nothing else to add.

Been a great servant to the club up till this season but surely in May we present him with a picture of a Spitfire and send him on his way.
-
Aye I took offence at that.

No worries. The raucous, passionate crowd will shout them back into this.

They could have charged a lot more than £4 extra for this compared to Qarabag and it still would sell out.
-
Playing devil's advocate here it's still cheaper than members prices for Qarabag and I know which of the 2 is the bigger game!

Still not for me. Even if we somehow got to the final I still find it difficult to believe it could eclipse what I experienced at Wembley last year!

Aye I'm big on sock hygiene. I've got 12 pairs of socks. January through to December. Must admit these February ones are ready to walk to the wash basket themselves now but just one more day to go before I can get the March ones out.
-
Definitely not as big as the Cup Final for me.
-
And what's wrong with that may I ask?
-
Not me. I use Lenor.

Was at that game. Ended up staying there for a week

The washing machine door being left wide open is narking me as well.

Hillsborough is pretty much fucked tbh. The Leppings Lane end should have been pulled down in 1989. As it stands it's still in operation today but although is has around 7,500 seats in it I think they are only allowed to use around 4,000 of them nowadays. They started the season unable to use the North Stand. That's the huge stand opposite the TV cameras, as the concrete was crumbling and there was danger of the roof collapsing so they couldn't get a safety certificate. Must be nearly 30 years since I was last there. It was a crumbling wreck then so god knows what it's like these days. Coventry City would have been the ideal club for him. Sheff Wed will be a lot harder, and take a lot more time to make money on than them. Certainly will be difficult to win his coverted balance sheet champions award.

Depends on how you want to interpret the word "process" I suppose. They've changed the % split between corporate and non corporate and will revert back to usual for the following game v Bournemouth. That's a change in the ticket allocation process as far as I'm concerned. As an example if they turned round in the summer and said we're making the entire Leazes End corporate for next season. Every season ticket holder in there can renew but your £700 season ticket is now £5,000 and you can go to a restaurant in town before the match for some scran. I'd consider that a change in the usual ticketing process. Suppose ultimately it makes no odds to me (or the ST holders on here for this game). I had no intention of going in the ballot or getting tickets anyway but I can see why it would stick in the throats of those who failed in the ballot and then the members sale (or what there was of it compared to usual). What it does mean is that there'll likely be another poor, sterile atmosphere and you'll have a load of mackems up in Level 7 taking the piss about how dead the place is because they won't be able to hear the home fans as the only ones making any noise will be too far away. Just a shame this is where we're at these days. Modern football eh!
