I've moved from a 9 to a 9.5 now. I think this just about seals it.

I'm a 9 now. Fulham and Brighton will get a fair few more points than us from here on in. In fact if West Brom beat us I still wouldn't rule out them catching us given Allardyce history of pulling something out of nowhere. I think we're done and Bruce starting to throw his players under the bus won't be helping.

Still find it staggering how their takeover was simply waved straight through. I mean we all know the reasons why but come on.

We currently have the 2 worst full backs in the league by a mile.

Could well need 5 wins from the last 15 if Fulham keep up this run of form and I can't see us getting anywhere near that.

Out of those 3 I'd say Pearson. Think he'd be most likely to get us out of this mess. Howe is almost the exact opposite to Bruce in the way he likes his teams to play amd I don't think he'd have enough time to implement his own ideas and start getting us the results needed to stay up. Wouldn’t entertain Redknapp.

Don't think so. A lot of the long standing fans I know have just been going out of habit for the past few years and now that habit has been broken they aren't about to just run back when they can. That's just people that I know I suppose and they could be in the minority but I've got a feeling they aren't.

There's not really much more to add here. Anyone with any football knowledge knew how this was turning out the minute he was appointed. We are as good as down really. Fulham are playing well, they are playing well and picking up points. A 10 point gap 2 weeks ago is now down to 3 and they have the momentum whilst we've lost 8 in the last 10. We got what was written on the tin when Ashley signed him.

His next of kin, who will have the Ashley genes, will just inherit the club so it'll be same old same old anyway. He's here forever in a roundabout way.

It wouldn't be nowhere near like what it was back then though. Times have changed, and so has your average NUFC fan. Certainly has you wouldn’t get a convoy of lads in transit vans piling down the motorways these days. Our away support was mental, used to be buzzing all week in the lead up to an away day. It was the 92/93 season when I started going to away games regularly with my dad. I would have been 14 at the time and I'll freely admit that some of the things I seen going on back then absolutely petrified me. Our crowd just seemed jam packed full of complete lunatics!

Remember it well. It was my 35th Birthday and the day before my son was born. We were winning 1-0 (Cabaye) and then Reading equalised with about 20 mins left. Pardews response was to take Cabaye off and replace him with Bigirimana. Reading went and scored again almost immediately after the substitution and we lost 2-1. Don't think I've ever been so annoyed at the match. Had a fight with the bloke in front of me cos he was defending Pardew and I ended up getting kicked out by the stewards and had my season ticket confiscated.

Surely these Saudis aren't going to be prepared to stump up over £300m on a football club who have a reasonable chance of being a 2nd tier club in 3 months time? The sum of our parts on the pitch is better than 17th. They've proven that. As I said Rafa was a different level. Most okay Premier League managers wouldn't have us competing there normally. Bruce may be terrible still, but he shouldn't judged on how he does compared to Rafa (unless he starts making silly comparisons but that's a different story). He had £100m but £40m was spent on a player the club were desperate to sign for some bizarre reason and was nowhere near that level. Rafa had Rondon and Perez - may have cost next to nothing but we definitely had more goals in that team on paper. We can talk about how we're doing compared to under Rafa and how much money Bruce has had, but is our squad really better than those of Fulham, Brighton, Crystal Palace, Burnley, Southampton, Aston Villa etc? I'd only say Burnley out of those and Fulham, Palace and Brighton are a similar level through having more depth than us. Take away ASM and Wilson for large parts of the season as stated and we have very poor alternatives as well as the poor players in our starting line-up. Rafa didn't have these 2 players at his disposal either. Bruce has had Wilson for the majority and ASM for some of the season. Rafa was also adamant he didn't want Joelinton whereas Bruce seemed more than happy to have him.

He's awful bless him. So far out of his depth as a Premier League footballer it's embarrassing. Yedlin wasn't the best by any means but this lad is a massive downgrade even on him.
