My view if I can do it after the years of support I gave then anyone can. Twenty year ago something would have been done but not a chance nowadays. The club is at its worst stage since the McKeag days and even then he had an excuse not being loaded. Now this fat cunt is taking the piss out of the manager, the players and the support whist laughing his cock off and decimating the club. But will we see the support unite and really make the point hard, to the point and at every level- not a hope in hell. Everyone is making fantastic points and suggesting great things to get rid of him. You just know though as has been said, a hardcore will just think Ashley is right, as mental as that seems despite all the evidence to the contrary staring them in the face. I very much doubt there are many, if any, that think Ashley is in any way "right". Plenty will still attend/support, but they are doing in spite of Ashley, rather than in support of him. Whilst silently doing it...I shouldn't knock because everyone's heart is in the right place but it's mental cognitive dissonance.

It's just such a shame that they don't get it at all. I remember listening to it after we best palace at home last season and they were legit saying we were going to finish top 6. It's great that they're positive about the club, but surely they should be using their podcast to highlight how shit things are at the moment and the need for coordinated fan action to try and apply some pressure on Ashley. Meh I like listening to it and they often have a decent balance but its the same problem; they all socialise through it and I think Alex even alluded to his life being better with the NUFC games than without it and you can appreciate why they want to keep upbeat. I get that. Still, it's all well and good but they know that all this talk of building and being stronger with Rafa is pretty moot. The one lad on it was more vocal about it. They aren't money grabbers and I don't want to misrepresent but they have a paid platform for the pod now and that brings with it a certain politics to consider. But only fans pay them, nobody else. And a very small minority I imagine, the main podcast is still free. Yeah thats fine. I don't subscribe but they are clearly making big things about becoming a bit of a broadcast network for the wider fanbase and I can see why that would have them reticent to put out 6 pods a week with the kind of agenda the likes of some of the protest groups advocate.

Yeah I'm really excited for our game & seeing the new lads get their first run-outs at St James' despite the best efforts of our owner to zap the spirit and feel good factor from the club. That said I won't be buying tickets or anything else. Some of the new players I like the look of but I’ll not pretend there’s anything being built here.
