FWIW I'm part of London MG which is probably clear and they (TMG) frustrate the hell out of me.Their FB page hasnt been updated since the 2nd November for instance - but that ultimately is just organisation and offering/seeking help. -

Not sure if serious? Well it certainly wasn’t the silent majority, was it? No, obviously not. But it most definitely wasn't a half-baked walk-in attempt either, with about 200 participants. Just to clarify, I'm all for protest action and have been involved in a few things with TMG, but genuinely don't understand the point of the walk-in or boycott protests. Everyone's already paid. Plus they create division in the fanbase, because people rightly or wrongly still want to go and support the team. Ashley literally won't give a fuck if they show up or not as long as the money is already paid. Protests that get at his other business interests... I'm all for those. It's all experiment. Doesn't mean you shouldn't try it. He had the money and PL status secured for Boycott Spurs and he shat it then. Doesn't seem like it will work at this point in time but if it means conversation goes beyond 'yeah he's a cunt/it's shit' and into 'right that didnt quite land/lets try this' and we're at least futhereing something other than apathy. -

Stick to actions that will force him out his hole and into the PR no mans land he eventually operates. The man undoes himself given the opportunity. To quote Malcolm Tucker 'Who did your media training? Moira Hyndely?' -

Funniest thing was a busker dressed as Darth Vader had the Imperial March playing on loop on the street corner - during which fatboy tramps up with his trophy wife perfectly in time. -

The two people sat behind him in the select committee footage were protesters. Cheers. It's all pretty hilarious tbh. Good fun. Meeting lots of new mag friends. -

Watch the select committee video and tell me it’s not about in part deflecting the car crash that was. Or an effort to temper the recent action - however low the uptake. -

I was there mate along with a copper, a plasterer, a PR consultant and a sailor - to cite a handful. He was shitting himself. There were fans inside the select committee with him and pressuring as he went through security. We were feet away from him. First time anyone has given him s*** organised and in person in 11 years and long overdue. The sky sports stuff may have been planned already of course. Really hope you all pulled out the YMCA. Just put me arseless chaps in the wash -

This is off the back of protests that happened today btw. He’s fucking rattled. -
Aye. I wasn’t there but by all accounts it’s gardly just a few bad apples.

I’ll back whatever goes ahead, but I’m aome respect it shows you are adaptable and are listening. Even though I believe TMG are 100% right I don’t believe it’s pandering. They would have to suggest more plans though quick if so. I think after shirebrook they have to persist. If it goes ahead they’ll have to talk pragmatically and say it was an experiment in unity. They can’t allow it to seem a futile exercise.

If you can’t rely on home fans try the away and take the message nationally and aimed solely at SD - the worst they’ll get then are the usual too cool for school web sadacts sneering at them and an apathetic home support leaving them to get on with it.

It had to go ahead today, I do think the boycott should be postponed but you have to spin it as listening to fans and it was an experiment in unity. Personally I think they’d be better off having a rethink and taking it nationally - utilising the sympathetic away support to protest a shop in every city they visit - throw their weight behind the London based action. Newcastle is too myopic in its thinking atm.

There’s a real irony about not being called ‘sheep’ which I disagree with but for some the meter doesn’t swing both ways

Seeing people say they’ll not move for protesters. Fuck is wrong with people?
