  1. Sunderland were lucky to even be in the game at HT vs Liverpool. Looked absolutely awful.
  2. On in Sweden (probably all of Scandinavia) on Viasat. Someone mentioned it being on in the US as well. Probably on in most of the world bar the UK tbh Cheers - on holiday at the moment, so hoping it'll somehow be on tv here.
  3. Is the match on tv in any other countries? .com doesnt have a list up yet.

    Alan Pardew

nah i'm not a miserable prick like Hughesy let him wallow in his internet seriousness You don't play nice.

    Alan Pardew

I imagine my life would be that much richer if I could think up little nicknames for people at NUFC. But then I'm not 8 years old, so I'll manage.

    Alan Pardew

i don't know, call him whatever you want i just copied it off someone how about "alan lyingfacedyesman", any better for you? I reckon Pardew would work actually.

    Alan Pardew

Just for future reference - is 'parnsip' meant to be a witty, yet insulting name for Pardew?

    Alan Pardew

irrelevant, we played them yesterday when they looked weak and out of sorts No, my point is, we make them "look" weak by killing their game. That's why I said Pardew shouldn't be criticised for the tactics employed. they had enough opportunities to bury us man, if it wasn't for gervinho farting about and the usual arsenal overplaying they'd have won comfortably we didn't create a chance worthy of note iirc his tactics were ok if we went out for a point, 20 minutes into the 1st half i thought all 3 were there for the taking, never mind the sending off Our best chance was a far better chance than any of theirs..
  11. Dyer was a quality player for us at his best. Sir Bobby himself would have told you that (well, he did, in his autobiography). Pace, movement, dribbling, could beat a man, decent finishing when through on goal, and quite importantly he was someone who encouraged the team to play on the deck. The constant injuries were always going to catch up to him, as they would do with any player. Section on Dyer in Robson autobiography is hilarious. Basically lists all his faults (a lengthy list) and then says he is good.

    Shola Ameobi

An embarrassing draw against a top 4 side, someone must be blamed. He wasn't the worst striker on the pitch but he MUST be blamed. Well - we must have a scapegoat.

    Shola Ameobi

As if he was that bad today.... seriously get some fucking perspective.
  14. Looks pretty good. Better than I'd hoped.
  15. That is so remarkably wrong. He wasn't even close to potentially being one of the most gifted players this country has seen. Do feel sorry for him though.
  16. We are struggling to get one striker in never mind two. Even if we sold Lovenkrands - we wouldn't need 2 more strikers.
  17. ITAT is an appropriate name for Sports Direct to sell through..
  18. See oldtype + the thousands of Newcastle supporters in countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia etc. I don't think there are that many fans out in Asia from my experiences there. Enough, but not nearly in the same league as your Liverpools and Man Utds.

    Shola Ameobi

Got no objections to Shola being 3rd or 4th choice for a bit.
  20. That game was ridiculous. I think it was about 40 shots on goal. Wonder if that is a PL record?
  21. Would be pretty happy if we got Pavlyuchenko. Much better player than he is given credit for.
