Had a handful of okay games but that's where it starts and ends. Still remember being in the Gallowgate during Chelsea at home and that free kick was very very saveable. That's what put Chelsea back in the game.

People underestimate how much him moving abroad and not to a PL rival softens the blow of him leaving Fair to say don't think many of us here have a soft spot for Liverpool Football Club or them hijacking Ekitike and still getting Isak Factor this with Barcelona paying a very decent fee for this and it explains the mostly positive reaction to him leaving

Wish the lad all the best. On his day he got me off my seat at home and at St. James' Park Good money we got for him. Hope he does well there.
-
I like him and think he's contributed tremendously overall during his time here (with the exception of some dumbass red cards and games gone missing) If Bayern and Barcelona are after you of course you'll get your head turned. That is really good money and excellent deal for us all things considered to be honest. Ohhhh Anthony Gordon 🙌🏾

Thanks for everything Ant No hard feelings and good money to receive for him. Softens the blow that it's for a club outside England.

Agreed

Summer has to be absolutely phenomenal to convince any realist we aren't in for more of the same next year Hoping Howe is going to adjust his style or shake it up is on some serious high grade copium
-
Even if he somehow turns out to be somewhat decent - considering the fee paid, just not a value for money signing in any circumstance unless he turns into Messi next year. Like many have said before, you can't teach footballing brain and final product. A pace merchant with limited to no tricks.
-
Behave, that would absolutely never happen because (pick one): a. Not true fans b. Won us a trophy c. Compare to Ashley era d. All the above

League season summarised in one last game. The worst of the new ownership. Just bring the summer and I hope it is absolutely ruthless.
-
Personally I'd rather we invested strongly in our GK and back 4 (CB especially because Thiaw and Botman have clangers more often than not in them) The season we finished 4th was built on very solid defense and from memory we only lost 4 games that year. We drew a lot yes but also won enough to finish 4th. I'd rather this lad continued to develop here next season.
-
One of Howe's limitations as a football coach (there are a few) is he couldn't fit a footballing style around this guy who is clearly talented and offers a very high ceiling dimension Very very talented lad unfortunately playing for the wrong coach I've accepted he'll do well elsewhere.
-
Callum has a goal in him occasionally mind - this guy is like having paid top dollar for a 128kbps mp3 CD for his bootleg soundcloud rap mix
-
Going to be an interesting summer and see how he starts next season. If he comes back with absolutely no intent of changing any of his ways then its only going to prolong the inevitable. By that point I think it will more or less confirm PIF are not really ruthless in how they run the club. Having said that, I'd very much rather it all works out because although I have lost faith in Eddie this year I still do love Eddie.

Forever in the Premier League panic buy hall of fame
-
Great win for him today, hope he wins all our remaining games and there's less gloom over the summer regardless of what happens I think it's clear PIF want him in charge beyond this season
-
I mean season is finished by this point if you're not going to try something different then when ever will you
-
Another weekend, another here we go again vibe season was dead for me after the mackem loss at home
-
If we were finishing 8th after last summer that is what you call a disappointing season but keep the faith in Eddie and go again next year If we finish lower midtable (looking more likely by the week) after continuous and obvious repeat of the same things that aren't working game after game without trying something different is just asking for this shit. I just can't see him surpassing the best he's done here because he does not demonstrate the sort of nous of an elite football coach/manager. He is dedicated, hard working, passionate and intense but his stubbornness and predictability is now beyond the point of annoying.
-
He's just not dynamic or proactive enough. Even if he had a better transfer window in the coming summer, I don't know how people think he's going to come back a totally different coach next year He has never demonstrated any will to change from his usual style of play or ethos at all. Which has failed him for 12 months now.
-
That was worth a try months ago. Howe is too stubborn to deviate from his way - if it miraculously happens by this point its still not a good look on him for how late he's tried something different Was surprised he's even subbed them both on before 80 mins today.
-
So obvious isn't it
-
I was thinking that actually, reminds me of a Wenger type player.

This lad would be absolute killer in a slow build up side good with the ball i.e - literally not us
