For the time being biggest thing he needs to quickly fix is the amount of goals we are hemorrhaging otherwise its a midtable finish and a knock out of the next round. If him not sorting the goals we are conceding isn't sorted by early next year, I just can't see the board sticking with him.

Played an absolute stinker today. I have faith in him to come good and rate his ability to be a solid signing for us but that was fucking horrific tonight.

As much as we can all agree he's earnt the right to start next year, he really needs to shake up his ideas and quick because we were so close to ending our season there and just limping across the finish line and we still have 3 months to go.

Howe is the best coach I have seen at NUFC (in my lifetime as a supporter since 2006, having surpassed Rafa) in terms of what he's accomplished here so far and what his skill ceiling/potential is.. Which is why I want him to succeed more than anyone and have a long legacy here. Having said that, he is not immune from certain criticism for some things this year so far (granted not all his fault). I very much look forward to what next season will be like with him still being here. He has earnt it. I must say that although he clearly has the ability to learn and adapt (man came with this hanging over his head - "relegated Bournemouth, his teams can't defend" and had us join best defence in the league last year with a relatively cheap back 4), this year his starting-11 squad management has been hit and miss, even with injuries taken into consideration, its not that the weeks of having a subs bench that resembled no subs bench are lost on me or anything. Certain things that stand out are the persistence with Burn (who other teams clearly view as a weak link now), bringing Willock and Murphy back too early after injury, the Lewis Hall mystery etc.

Exactly this and yes he generally has done well but even so though, how is this even a surprise to anyone by now. Lad was our weakest link in attack last year and is our weakest link in defence this year. Seriously fucking infuriating stuff by Eddie. There is a better player on the bench that you spent so much money on man ffs.

You have got to be joking - nobody isn't appreciating him for being the local lad that has chipped in with the occasional goal and decent performances more often than not However, this does not mean he is a top 4, never mind top 7 full-back. He just isn't. He was our clear weak link in attack many times last year, he is now our clear weak link in defence this year and crumbles like quick sand against any pacey winger. Very very limited player that I think his days as a first teamer here, especially if we are to move onto the next level, really should be at an end. Subs bench level player at best. By this point I don't know how many more games he needs subbed off because the other team figured out how easy it is to skin him.

Love him but not all of our stinkers this year were injury related. Needs to stop it with this fucking playing-favourites shit.
