Burnley mate of mine says this: "He absolutely did not shine at a relegated Burnley side, we were calling for him to dropped for literally months, he was completely miss managed by Kompany, he was starting every game and it cost us massively... as soon as he was dropped we started picking up points.... he will be a great goal keeper 100% but honestly, he's nowhere near Prem level right now" Hope Pope has an injury free campaign then.

"Local Hero" is far more iconic and the atmosphere at the ground when it hits is just brilliant imo - even when on the telly with the team line-ups being announced. Of course I am biased. Dance of the Knights just sounds like some cringe Darth Vader shit.

This just has Howe's name all over it. Personally, not a fan from what very little I have seen but we do need a solid second choice keeper as Pope being fucked half of last year had us conceding goals left right and center. Always happy to be proven wrong by steady Eddie.

Fucking lush. Instant purchase
-
From the video that kit looks like an absolute instant purchase. So so good.
-
Will be missed and I class him in the same category of NUFC legends as some of the core players that took us back up the first time we got relegated back in 2009 and stayed up the season after.

Shocking. I mean just see what sticking with Arteta and trust in the process has done for Arsenal
-
Fuck Brighton. Hope they get relegated next year.
-
Bit harsh dude. He was solid for us for the early part of his time here up until Pope joined. Definitely past sell by date and needs departing in the summer.
-
Twilight Steve Harper levels of timber for the 3rd goal Nah this guy is definitely past his sell date. Thanks for being decent for us during a shit time tho.

Excellent point. #MagsBagsAlbanianslags

I have always felt this to be the case but I mean he would be next level delulu if you had an issue being second choice given that injury record It's not like he would be off somewhere better given age as well.
-
I used to think this but Conference league is still technically Europe and even mickey mouse European football is still a great platform to attract younger talent and somewhat convince our best players that qualifying for Europe two seasons in a row is progress. Also, another shot at a trophy. If our best players aren't happy with conference I somehow doubt they'd be happy with 8th in terms of project sold to them. Personally think we'll beat Brentford and make it. Hope City don't have a shit FA cup final.
-
Think he played a really slick forward back-heel pass to get the pressure out our box at one point as well. Sure it was him. Either way, him and Tino are the future.
-
Criminal to not finish that chance given his quality. Please turn up this weekend so we can at least finish 7th
-
I was ridiculed for saying age is catching up with him end of last season. Personally would have been happy to see him go to Bayern in January as well. I mean the guy ain't gonna get any better now is he? Love the impact he had upon arrival but we were signing someone not far from the age players tend to decline rapidly.
-
I don't think our best players would feel that way. It is another competition to do well in and attract talent to compete it.
-
Surprised he even started today and Brighton since Pope has returned tbh. Why even bench Pope if he's not fit to go.

Murphy pure brain dead
-
Son fluffed it there

Some proper douchebag post match interviews as well. Lost a lot of respect after that me personally. Brighton away (I think last year or year before) sticks out.

The real Chris Wood back ladies and gentlemen
-
Agreed - Barnes has a big season ahead of himself next year. Some decent highlights with his handful of important goals in 1-2 games this year but on the overall much improvement needed next season and hopefully injury free.

These pricks play Chelsea at home next. If they are turning around their form then you'd hope they at least get a draw
