Sounds like there's no interest from NYC according to a supporter's blog that is generally well sourced. L'equipe isn't exactly a great source for MLS, would expect if anything happens we'll hear from someone over here.

L'Equipe saying he's had talks with NYCFC

Both threads are awful reads, can't believe either are so polarizing.

Gerrard is so pointless

In all seriousness I highly doubt he goes to MLS, it'll take a club who wants him, is willing to pay, and has an available DP spot (unless he's willing to play on something like $300,000). On top of that, FIFA have to allow it

Good thing Chicago just signed Shaun Maloney to their final DP spot

Absolutely the worst time to sell him. If it happens in the summer whatever, but otherwise so dumb. When does the transfer window end?

Like the fifth week I've had the highest score and still languishing in tenth. Hull 2-1 Newcastle Crystal Palace 1-1 Everton Liverpool 2-0 West Ham Man Utd 3-0 Leicester Stoke 2-1 QPR Sunderland 1-2 Burnley West Brom 0-2 Spurs Chelsea 1-1 Man City Arsenal 3-0 Aston Villa Southampton 2-0 Swansea

He looks really promising, him and Hyndman were so far ahead of a lot of players at U20 WC qualifying. Huge for his age too, sounds like he'll be training with Spurs first team soon.

I see the thinking behind a 3-5-2, we have at least three players who fit as a wing back, and about five or six centerbacks of similar quality, except for Jones. Allows us to have two strikers on the field and a midfield three, but it has to be executed right, which it wasn't. Not sure Jones is good enough either, in theory he should be as a the ball playing cb, but I have a lot of doubts. In terms of guys going back to MLS it's only certain cases that bother me. Like Deuce said, Dempsey's was a good move, but someone like Bradley going back in their prime has already hurt us. Altidore and Mix are weird cases, Jozy fucked himself over by choosing a club (and league) where he was never going to succeed, and by the sounds of it Mix didn't have many great offers in Europe, according to Klinsmann at least. Fortunately, it seems like our best young prospects are heading to Europe. Rubin and Flores are already there and a few of the U-17 kids are going soon. MLS is a decent place to start for most, I just hope they don't get coerced to stay once they're in their early 20's. We've already seen Luis Gil stagnate because he's in a side with one of the best players in the league at his position.

Yeah, let up two in the last half an hour or so. Pretty much lost all control of that match after an hour.

Three CB's!

Never doubted him

I don't understand Bobby Wood
