Didn't realize Georgie Thompson is on tv over here. Weird fit.

Boring goal for a boring game

Reyna actually scored in a CL qualifier, but he wasn't on the list when I looked. Thought about considering him, he is an American citizen after all.

Jones is right. Jovan Kirovski is other other, scored for Dortmund the year they won.

Ooh, a quiz. Onyewu? Beasley Edu Latter two are right, one's still currently playing in the Champions League (this is a giveaway hint) and the other played for Crystal Palace and Birmingham at the beginning of the millennium.

I don't think it's just the police, stuff like transport would be a major issue if both NUFC and SAFC were to kick off at home on Saturday at 3pm since both clubs draw a large amount of support from outside the respective cities. Is it like this everywhere in England, West Brom and Aston Villa wouldn't play home games on the same day right? Just hard to comprehend because it happens so much over here in the same city. West Brom and Villa isn't really a big rivalry. Birmingham City and Aston Villa certainly would never have two home games on the same day, at least when Blues were in the premiership. But there close in proximity though right? That's what I thought the restrictions about (well, actually I thought it was down to police as they're the ones who change the derby kickoff). I'm sure if I grew up in the country it would makes sense to me, but it seems like something that could be pulled out pretty easily.

Sacha Kljestan becomes the fifth American to score in the Champions League. We're going places.

"Must take the chance this time" no, man, no he's shit

Flipped over to the Man Utd game for a few minutes and apparently a blizzard started at Galatasaray/Juventus. Field is almost white Might be hail actually

I do have to question Northumbria police though, it's probably like this across the country so someone will have to explain, but how can a police force not handle two games being played on the same day in cities separated by half an hour?

2014 FIFA World Cup Brasilâ„¢ - Europe vs. America
Ameritoon replied to LucaAltieri's topic in Football
Should be noted these aren't actually predictions, just each nation's percentage possibility of getting out of there group. Put together by Nate Silver, who's probably the best statistician around, he was the only one to get close to predicting the election in 2012. -
Yeah, they both played for Cal I think. I don't think I've actually ever seen him play a game, it's like he's a shitty figurehead. She'd probably have trouble pushing it's head out. Might end up looking like Obertan I'd like to believe Morgan's physical genes would take over. Pretty sure MB actually has a child with an equally attractive girl.

Just realized Pardew isn't going to shake Moyes' hand in that picture, what a let down. They already shook, think he was waiting for Carver there, what a fucking smarmy smile though

Would be way cooler if it wasn't with some MLS scrub. Her and Bradley should be a thing.

Rewatching with the BT commentary "the smash and grab is on" Also said "all of a sudden Old Trafford is silent" despite making numerous references to how quiet it had been all game.

Sounds like Eto'o is going to MLS after the World Cup

Chicago seems like it's going for a facelift. I'm certainly not going to frequently travel two hours by public transit to go see a team whose stars are Chris Rolfe, Logan Pause and Joel Lindpere.

He's easier to hate than Suarez

Wonder if refs have been told by the league to give less pens for hand balls. That's like the fifth that could've been given but wasn't in the last two weeks.

Second time Michu has made the wrong run when there was only one to make

Swansea doesn't annoy me anywhere near as much as Hull did, we were in the lead at home twice ffs. Despite the current scoreline. Same, Swansea is just annoying because our tactics and it's more recent. They didn't even have a striker for most of the game, dammit
-
He doesn't have much going forward, but still scores. Probably the best at using his body to win the ball/let it roll out than any defender in the league, let alone any fullback. Still rather have Debuchy, but Ivanovic is top three imo
-
That's a great cross. This game is just going to be so annoying looking back at our fixtures against these two.
