I get absolutely ridiculous amounts of enjoyment. I'm old enough to remember great champions league nights and having a season ticket last season was immensely good fun. I've been fortunate enough to get to know alot of people who support different teams at uni, and also people who have either no favourite team or support man united due to where they were born/grew up. And I sometimes I feel sorry for people who aren't as lucky as us to be born in an area with such a magnificent club. Sure we have low points but we have had more than our fair share of good ones. Would you rather support Wigan? Hull? Middlesbrough? Fulham? (etc. This is a very long list). I was in Brugge last week and one of my mates asked a barman is it normally like this when other teams visit, he looked at him like he was stupid, laughed and gave a sarcastic "yeah". So in short, alot, most of the time.

And yet we have been so many times in recent history. Seems some people on here would like to return to such a status. To clarify I wasn't trying to suggest earlier that Pardew is at par with Wenger, nor was I trying to suggest that we are anywhere near on par with Arsenal, and nor am I suggesting now that people on this board would wish to be the laughing stock of football. What I am suggesting is that if some people on here had their way, we would without doubt be permanently the laughing stock of football.

I was in 1892, and they were dotted around behind me too. However from what I could tell they also had the entire Milburn Paddock B! Was utterly bizarre having them jumping up waving their hands when I decision went against them.

Was 100% Ba. Everyone round me thought it was Shola until saw replay later on. He was really up for this game as usual, only reason he came off and not Ba is that he wouldn't of been able to last the full 90 mins so would of had to be subbed off later 10 men or not. Hope he gets plently rest until the next one at SJP, where he will without doubt score a perfect hattrick
