    Leon Best

He seemed to have very little intelligence when it came to being offside! Other than that he seems ok albiet rather limited. All we got though for quite a while- need to back him. I think Ranger is a decent "impact sub"
  2. I'm from Newcastle, England. And that is the order of my loyalty, as it always will be. I remember talking to uni mates about something similar.. basicly they couldn't believe I'd rather newcastle win the champions league than england win the world cup. They were mainly Man U and Arsenal fans
  3. However, spending a bit on wages for a loan player in a position we're short, isn't. They gambled two years ago by not bringing in players in the positions we were short, and we ended up relegated and losing far more money than we would have had we signed a decent central midfielder. One point we went down by! One decent midfielder could have produced a bit of magic in a game we drew in, like Portsmouth at home, or Fulham. We gambled, looked terrible for the rest of the season and went down. Im sorry but there is no way we got relegated by not having enough players.. We had plently of players, but they didn't play. We got relegated and got rid of a load of slackers and the best part of what was left got us back up- proof that we had plently of "players". I was disapointed that we didn't sign another striker and a winger- we really could of done with one. And I was gutted we lost Carroll. But I do not blame our beloved owners for not loosing the plot and spending ridiculous sums of money. Carrolls gone and we might never find out if it was the players or boards fault- it was probably a combination.. But would you really be happier if late on deadline day we decided to spend 20m+ on someone that simply wasn't worth it. Take Elmander for example, hes been good this season, would people really be happy if we continued the trend of ridiculousness and rushed through a £25m deal for him?
  4. I've relistened with some decent speakers, and I consider myself to be a right spack. Cheers lol
  5. To live within our means. Spending 10s of millions of pounds on footballers is outragous, especially given the current climate
  6. were the liverpool fans chanting "newcastle newcastle... " when he was presented?

    Cole vs Carroll

We sold the title, wasn't ideal. Here we sold our ambition. But I think cole was worse still
  8. Carroll wanted to double his wages and move to a club that has a real chance of winning something. Im gutted too but DEAL WITH IT!

  10. Hes gonna double/treble his money and play for a bigger club. He saw shearer spend 10 years and win nothing. Favourite club loyalty can only go so far.. I really don't blame him Its chelseas/liverpools fault.
  11. Is he worth £30m ? No. Can we afford to sell him ? No. sighhh football is ridiculous sometimes. stupid money :/
  12. have must of touched a nerve There is no excuse for bad grammar.
  13. For a first experience you might want to sit in the east stand/ gallowgate corner area. The Milburn/SJH stand really is a sight coming out those doors when its full
  14. Not only is it the right decision, its also excellent for all the fans that no longer have to endure his drivel
  15. I bet he regrets leaving. Even though he'll be on more money he could of stayed here and been a legend, now nobody cares about him
  16. Probably the best thing about this transfer is that thousands of sunderland fans are now going to have BENT on their back for no good reason

  18. Players are always gonna get slated if they've had a shitter, some people are just like that. IMO Enrique and Colo etc weren't universally slated by people because they had at some point actually had solid games- or at least shown some promise. Players like Perch havn't had this, and it suggests they're out of the depth.

Perhaps Hughton had spoken to JC about being his assistant before his sacking and thats why he may of been angry. Perhaps perhaps. Good signing
