Leaving a match when your team isn't doing well is ridiculous, if you've gone to the game then you've gone to support them regardless of what happens. That's what being a fan is all about, you have to accept that there are going to be bad days and that you won't enjoy it but you still show your support until the end.

Barton did play well last night but there were quite a few times especially in the first half when Jose made overlapping runs down the left and JB ignored him and played the simple pass inside. IMO, I think the squad needs freshening up with 2/3 players to come straight in to the starting line up, someone with a bit of pace in the centre of midfield that can link defence and attack, I know its dreaming but Miguel Veloso from Sporting would be an incredible signing, probably too expensive for MA. Other than that I think that the squad needs to be kept together to some extent, the success that Stoke have enjoyed over the last couple of seasons is down to their strength as a unit rather than good individuals. we need to be hard to beat both home and away.
