  1. I'm going to the west brom v liverpool game on the weekend with my baggies supportin uncle, anyone got any choice words for the long haired judas?
  2. Personally I think even with all the money at their disposal it is a lot harder to build a team that plays successful attractive football, the likes of Barcelona and to some extent their red manc counterparts have built their teams over years so the players there know how to play well together. City have got the players but they just haven't clicked yet, so in that respect grinding out results in the short term to achieve success is their most realistic option.
  3. Swansea, Notts Forest and Norwich for me. Definitely not Leeds, got too many Leeds supportin mates and I love seein them suffer.
  4. he's probably about the same build as nolan and its pretty much taken as gospel that he's a fatty
  5. ...and we're linked with him according to the bbc gossip column - we'd have a team full of fat knackers. him plus campbell, nolan and kuqi it might as well be kfc @ st james' park next season.

    Players in public

Sol Campbell was sat outside Starbucks in Jesmond at about half 2 yesterday, all on his own he was..
  8. My first was wimbledon at home in 1998 iirc, big duncan ferguson scored twice and we won 3-1. My grandad took me for my 10th birthday
  9. Leaving a match when your team isn't doing well is ridiculous, if you've gone to the game then you've gone to support them regardless of what happens. That's what being a fan is all about, you have to accept that there are going to be bad days and that you won't enjoy it but you still show your support until the end.
  10. Richards went there from Oldham
  11. I really hope this means that he will be taken off at half time with gosling coming on, I'd rather us take him off the pitch to change things than bring him on to have an 'impact'
  12. Getting a huge sum of money for Carroll whilst pleasing fat Mike's accountant would do nothing to help our cause this season or next. As we're currently experiencing in this transfer window players are very reluctant to come here with the kind of offers we're putting on the table. Mike really isn't going to change his ways and open his wallet if Carroll goes, it will just be a case of same old same old but with a huge part of the way we've been playing missing. Money doesn't score goals and win matches.
  13. put simply, no. I'd prefer somebody with more to prove than SWP, he doesn't seem hungry enough and for the money he is on there is a lot better out there.
  14. Getting him on loan until the end of the season isn't really a massive gamble, if he's shite then he goes back to the spuds in the summer.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Not at all, he has to battle past the mighty Vuckic for a start. Vuckic who can already play with the team and who looks more promising Vuckic should be played at stevenage, he needs some game time
  16. I don't think Leeds would sell him in January, if they don't get promoted then he's a possibility for the summer on the cheap maybe

    Hatem Ben Arfa

is gosling even guaranteed to walk into the starting 11 though?
