Every car i've ever bought, the haggling over the price has taken no longer than 5 minutes. How come a footballer can take weeks to sell?
-
He hasn't signed a whopping 4 players today. Two strikers, a winger and an attacking midfielder. Awesome work Joe, keep it up son.
-
That's the thing. Under Freddie Shepherd we could sign players who didn't want to play for us by throwing money at them, now we can't even do that. Mind we won fuck all back then either.
-
Just make sure you tell us you've got some really good information but you can't tell us what it is first. Big, BIG news re: McCarthy. Can't say what just yet but watch this space...
-
McCarthys family live over the road from my in laws, i'll get some ITK shit for yous by the end of the day. Actually i think they might have moved once he made a few quid, if that's the case i'll just make it up.
-
Lolz, £15mil and it goes up £1mil per day.
-
After Cabayes first season with us we could had probably asked for £20mil. Last season his form had dipped and £12mil is in my opinion more realistic. If we keep him til January or even next summer, he'll be worse than last season and we'll be lucky to get £10mil. But he's going this week, we'll see what Ashley can screw out of them. Not that it matters of course, it's not like it'll be reinvested.
-
Bet you a fiver.
-
If they put £13.5mil on the table i think Ashley will take it.
-
I think Gary Nevilles just had a shit.
-
I'd have him back if Chelsea pay half his wages. And he agrees to play wide left without opening his yap the twiney little bitch.
-
I don't think it matters to be honest. Ten minutes with us and he'll be tatie hash.
-
Lolz my heart bleeds. Welcome to our world!
-
I can't remember the last time i looked forward to a game that didn't invole us. Actually i can't remember the last time i looked forward to one of our games, but we'll gloss over that... Anyroad, huge game for Moyes it'll be interesting how the press behave should he lose.

I'd love to see Nolan back at NUFC someday, don't know what capacity that would be in mind. And Ashley would need to be out of the picture. Oh well, it was a nice idea.
-
Had he been signed a month ago he'd have played on Saturday and quite likely would have been the difference between 1 point and 3 points. Come next may those two points could easily be the difference between staying up and being relegated. And if the league's as tight as it was last year the extra 2 or 3 places up the table would mean £1.5m extra revenue. What a fucked up, short sighted philosophy we employ.
-
I dunno but i want in on the action. I was up at half five this morning and i've put a solid shift in not signing footballers.
-
His job is not signing players. Easiest job in football.
-
Everybodys assuming he'll go once he's got his money back. But if Ashley can take ~£20mil per season out of the club why would he sell?
-
So did Hicks and Gillett, they were still forced out by fan pressure. Then why arent the fans putting more pressure on Ashley to leave? You got nothing to lose, do you? It can't possibly get any worse than this,ey? Relegation you say.... Been there before. I'd say make Ashley's life as miserable as possible. At this point, he is the one in danger of loosing the most. The club is well lost anyway... I agree and if your a season ticket holder shoot the b****** down and it gets the press sniffing and it snowballs,if we get relegated so what we will come back from it .We have nothing too lose here and the devil we know is worse than the devil we dont this time. Honestly, I'm just curious as to why there hasn't been some greater turmoil and protests to what's going on? The Liverpool fans contributed a great deal to force out the previous owners. From what I've read (in my SBR book and on here) the geordie people are VERY proud and passionate about the city and the club? baffles me too after Keegan walked and the anti-Ashley protests i didnt think it would be so quiet ,are people just accepting this shit or waiting for an opportunity e.g bottom 3 after the Fulham game or end of window to finally snap into action . End of the window mate. If Ashley hasn't shown some sort of commitment by then, and i'm not holding my breath, then that's me done.
-
I've said along I think we'll sell for £12m. Based on nothing other than that's all I think he's worth. Personally I'd tell him to get fucked though, shut up and play.

The french sports direct adverts today were something i didn't see coming. I refused to accept it before but it's as clear as day now, Ashley bought NUFC specifically because he can abuse us. No other club in England, or anywhere else for that matter has fans that would continue to fill the stadium, buy the shirts and eat dog shit pies month after month. He's here for the long haul too, til he's wrung every last drop out of us.

Ayew, Gignac, Gomis, Gourcuff, we need the lot. Frankly I find it unfathomable that we can be so short of bodies and have to play Shola. When a) we've only played two games and b) the transfer window is open.
