  1. What was with the stewards reaction to the "Support the Team, not the Regime" banner?
  2. Currently at the match. This is one of the worst football matches I've ever seen. Boring as fuck.
  3. It's probably cheaper to initially manufacturer it after everyone else has initially manufactured theirs.
  4. I saw a magpie boppin about on Warwick Street so I thought hey, good oman! Fucking hate Puma jesus fucking christ fucking wankers pricks
  5. This club disgusts me right now.

    Papiss Cissé

There's no such thing in modern society I'm afraid. We could like, not be sponsored? How much are we making from Wonga, £10m max over how many years? That's nothing in the grand scheme of things when you think about TV money etc.

David Craig was SSN saying it was because of the Wonga wangle. Does that make it true?

    Papiss Cissé

Do we even know that the reason that Cissé has not travelled to Portugal is because of this whole Wonga thing or is it all just hearsay and rumours?
  9. Or you could like, not get any of them and make a point.
  10. Darren Bent. Is this what it has come to?
  11. When I was a kid and didn't live in Newcastle, I adored those days when me and my dad came up here to see my grandparents and took the metro in to town, got off the Metro at Monument and I ran straight into the club shop. I'm sounding like a right knob now but it was magical. It really re-enforced the whole 'city living and breathing football' image.

    Kevin Keegan

Keegan's vision for a Newcastle sporting club... Why can't we have any visionaries like that associated with the club now?
  14. I'll ask everyone this question: does Newcastle United at the present time offer you any civic pride whatsoever in the city of Newcastle upon Tyne?
  15. If there was a complete boycott of St James Park, literally an empty stadium, he'd have to go to be quite honest. Probably aye. How likely is that do you think? Not very likely at all, but it's a point none-the-less. Even if the attendance figures dropped significantly like 20-30k less he'd probably seriously rethink his position. I just hate this 'it's not going to work so I'm not even going to try' attitude. A visible protest by the fans is the only thing that can make a difference other than the whim of Ashley right now and a half empty St James Park on a saturday would make a huge statement.

  17. But the club IS Ashley. That's the whole problem. It's his own personal toy essentially and he can do whatever he so pleases with it. It isn't 'ours' at all.
  18. It'll be a new 'bar area' for VIPs called "Wonga's"
  19. I know that, and obviously it could be much better, but there's nothing wrong with the idea. Why close it when it could be improved? Instead we're just pandering to 'VIPs'. I don't want Newcastle United to become that kind of club. The terrace bar has opened, no need for 2 bars to be open right next to each other. But that's not the point I'm trying to make. There was no need to open up another bar in the first place.

  21. That's not a reason to close it... The fact we had a bar called 'Shearers' was always very quaint and was another reason for people to visit our beautiful stadium. It's just more soul being ripped out of the club. Disgraceful.
