  1. For the record I'm not offended by your comment @Slim but I do think it's a clumsy comparison.
  2. That may be so but each fan will have their own individual reasons for wanting to go to a match. Like I said, I boycotted for many years and it achieved nothing. By this point I think it's unfair to criticise fans for going to matches because we all have seen the futileness of it all.
  3. Bit of a gap between scab and nazi collaborator like
  4. There will never be an empty stadium and its unrealistic to expect that. There will always be parents wanting to take their excited kids, there will always be people who have been every week for 60 years, and there will always be people who just don't care.
  5. I am Jewish so that's unlikely. What a ridiculous comparison. You cannot compare the holocaust to Ashley's ownership of NUFC FFS.
  6. That was a short-term protest against the super league. The Glazers remain in charge and they're still hated. You cannot expect people to risk arrest/their jobs for what is ultimately a futile endeavour. Ashley will sell when he sells.
  7. Your judgement means very little to me, I am merely posting so that others who share my POV know they are not alone. I boycotted the club for many years and it made no difference whatsoever.
  8. The best comparison is with Manchester United. Their fans hate the Glazers but what can they do? They tried to protest, nothing really made a difference, so it fizzles out, and Old Trafford remains full.
  9. As others have said, Ashley has owned NUFC for circa 15 years. You can't compare short bursts of anger from fans of other clubs with 15 years of grinding resentment. There's nothing wrong with our fans.
  10. The fanbase is tired. There is no appetite for mass protest and getting angry and/or frustrated at that isn't going to change anything.
  11. Judge all you want but it isn't going to change anything. I want the takeover as much as you but I am not going to deprive myself of some fun so I can feel some moral superiority. I boycotted the club, Sports Direct, and everything Ashley owns for years and it made zero bit of difference. Give the fanbase a break.
  12. I had a good time regardless to be honest. Live football is much better than watching it on TV.
  13. I went to the match using my Dad’s season ticket because I had a sh*t week at work and wanted some entertainment. That doesn’t make me any less of a true fan than someone who is boycotting, nor does it make me part of the problem. We will get a new owner when we get a new owner. It’s completely out of our hands and frankly the fanbase as a whole is sick and tired of it all, and who can blame them?
  14. I was in the Gallowgate. Plenty of get out of our club chants
  15. PIF has always owned 100% of the shares of that company.
  16. That's only 3 Jack Grealishs at the end of the day.
  17. Well this has ruined my day already
  18. Of course a failed jurisdiction application followed by a failed CAT case will mean even more legal costs for the Premier League to pay so it's not quite a "no lose" situation.
  19. I’m really gutted. Really feels we’ve been screwed over by the powers that be
