Who are they? Guess. I can't, I need someone more qualified to judge the credibility of fellow posters. Gemill. Happy Face. Funny game football, I have a sneaking suspicion that had we not been gifted two goals by Jose Bosingwa then we would not be enduring these "posters" right now.

If your aim is to dominate games for 90 minutes you're living in cloud cuckoo land. fuck sake man
  7. One scraped result against the already relegated bottom team to just about stave off relegation and now we've got toontastic numpties literally popping out of the woodwork with tall horses, sarcasm and thinly veiled mockery. There will be wide spread adoration if Pardew stays and scrapes us to lower mid-table, such is the success of his PR and exercises in lowering expectations . Some fans have nearly turned into the 'self loathing jew' and are scared to act out of fear of conforming to shitty stereotypes Well played Mike, Dekka and Pardew. I certinly underestimated you guys.

We finished 5th last year and the extent of Ashley's ambition meant that the best player brought in was Vurnon Anita, not even a first teamer a year later. If Ashley is not swayed by a 5th place finish then there's not a great deal more Pardew could do to push for improvement. It was only the threat of relegation that forced Ashley to put his hand in his pocket in January......and even then he's happy to have Shola Ameobi as the second best dedicated striker at the club. Is Gouffran not a striker like? "dedicated"
  9. It must take genuine effort to talk such shite.

A quote from February last year Over a year later... Come on.

Fair point. But... last season he was decent. The football was decent too. I know this season has been awful but none of us know which way next season would go under Pardew. We can't know. Since we can't know what kind of football we'll have until we're playing it, the only stuff that matters are the external factors like stability and relationships in the club. Erm. No. The football was not, on the whole decent. Not a hope.

What a terribly negative mindset some fans have. The same mindset as our woefully inept manager.

Disagree, there's countless managers on the continent that would take the job who are working under tighter constraints and would suit the players we have and the players we plan to recruit. Because they are under the radar don't mean they don't exist. Name one. if there's countless. just one. Rene Girard ( )

In your opinion. As Luca has pointed out, not one of us can call next season with any degree of absolute certainty. Even less so if we dispose of the current incumbent. Taking into account the ever so important personal histories of those involved only proves to cement that belief.
  15. 1) He won't. 2) What's remotely funny or witty about that?

I honestly can't believe it's even remotely up for debate.

Very naive IMO. As if there's no precedent in football for increased player power in these matters. There's also a precedent for Mike Ashley not being messed around by anyone. And there's also a precedent for Mike Ashley being extremely tight and prudent with money and I can't see him letting a player sit in the reserves as a matter of principle when he could take a transfer fee. Fair point I suppose, depends how vociferous the player is about moving. Hopefully it won't come to that. Aye he'd probably deal with it on a 'case by case' basis I suppose but I'd be shocked if we don't learn the truth of the matter this summer at least once, regardless of what happens.
