I'm actually even thinking of drawing up a bingo game made up of his of his excuses and lies of what he will say whenever he is no longer managing us. He'll reflect on his time here with pride and bragging about his achievements but will have a long list of excuses ready to say why it failed and was difficult. Hope he never has the chance to do so though. Just move to Pluto or somewhere when he's done here.
-
Hopefully the players hate him as much as we do so aren't going to let this cunt get a lucky draw never mind a win from now on.
-
I watched when Leeds tore Big Sam's West Brom a new one. Fully expect the same here. 1-4. We're going to score coz Leeds are woeful at defending set pieces.
-
It's the way Bruce has handled the mess that makes fans absolutely hate him. He antogonises the fans by having a go at them, at Rafa, then talks down tbe club, talks down the.history of the club and at the end of the day, bigs himself up. Always saying he is challenge and not shy away from criticism but he is doing exactly that. Cascarino blaming Ashley for poor direction. Aahley gave hia.mate £100 million to spend but his pal is excusable from criticism? Aye. Another clueless pundit.

Why wait for Tuesday week, we have Leeds at home in 48hours time. Wor flags are up to something I'm sure.

Bruce will spin it and take credit. Its his way remember? He'll claim getting this help was his idea. This already looks bad on him for needing 'help' to get results. Deserves the shame.
-
Steve Nickson? Good shout. Before last night's interview, think everyone just assumed that Jones was Bruce's choice. Seeing he was from up here, no one actually bothered. But Bruce being p*ssed off in that interview, not claiming any credit for it, curious as to who identified Jones to join the coaching team. Can see Bruce will try to stop that transfer if he could in any way possible.
-
If its not Bruce who made the decision on Greame Jones, then who is in Mike Ashley's ear trying to add to Bruce's backroom staff? Surely both Ashley and Charnley's football knwwledge is not that deep to pluck a coach from a Championship side? I mean, is it the same bloke who advised Ashley to waste his money paying compensation to Sheff Wednesday to get this c*** here in the first place? Must be Bishop?

Let's say, whatever needs to happen this week, happens. Everything goes in our favour. Do you really think, the PL will say, "oh look. Saudis and Qatar are buddies again. All legal obstacles there are dropped. Ok PIF. You can take control of Newcastle United Football Club once the keys arrive on your doorstep through the mail next week". Surely they'll make us go through whatever pathetic test they have arranged, take a bit more time to chew on it a little and then, maybe just maybe, they will give the green light? That'll take ages and baconhead would probably have us in the relegation zone already. Oh, that's not even including the influx of letters that the PL will receive from widows, human rights groups, a bunch of nobodies and etc. Masters needs to reply to all those again. This is going to drag on again.

He can accept any criticism that comes his way. Never walked away from a challenge. Aye.

Can you imagine how smug this cunt will be if we somehow scrape a draw or get a miracle win against Leeds or even Everton if he survives that long? He'll be arrogant as fuck that 'his way' finally worked. I bet my bottom dollar he'll keep to the same team and formation in the next game after, believing he has now got the formula. Everyone knows, a win/draw against Leeds or Everton will be followed up by another dismal pathetic performance the match after. Simply put, the players don't want to play for the clueless idiot anymore.

Aye, it ain't happening. We can stop pretending it will. Even the Keith bloke doesn't sound as confident as some on here who actually get most of their confidence from Keith in the first place. Rafa not coming back will leave me with only 1% hope this will ever happen. I had put some of my blind faith in Rafa's movement. Had he left China at anytime and was heading for us to replace baconhead, I would have believed that the buyers were actually dictating things and super confident it was happening. As it is, Rafa has left China but not a peep about him coming here under the potential new owners instructions. Contrastingly, Caulkin even said Rafa would never come back under Ashley so I'm at a loss as to how this can ever happen and soon. That is just my perspective. Each to their own.

By the way, which one will last longer? This current thread or the canteen-loving head coach at the club?

I actually hate the idea of temporary managers until the end of the season scenarios. In most cases, they turn out to be permanent appointments later. Some turn out good, some turn sour quickly. Especially if you promote someone from within. Unless the one that takes it on a temporary basis is like Rafa, then we should be thinking long term. Even then, I would not want Rafa back on a temporary basis knowing that Ashley will not offer the job to him once we're safe and instead he brings in Mark Hughes. Shearer knows a thing about it. Hughton got it then was binned. We promoted fucking Carver and continued to be a joke. The Greame Jones situation is interesting though. Definitely not a Bruce decision. He would have gone on and on and on about it if it was his appointment and his way of doing things.

Rafa Rafael..Rafa Rafael..Rafa Rafael..Rafael Benitez...
-
'lets hope that works tonight'. Yeah. Hope as much as you want you utter mong.
-
He has never let go of it tbf
-
Bruce still hanging on with the Covid excuse when our opponents tonight are the most recent victims of it. We got hit like a month ago ffs.
-
Absolute hideous lineup. Not talking about the players mind. Bloody hate watching Bruce always talking and chit chatting with the opposition coach before kick off
-
Ear bleeeing session with Jamie Redknapp again

Personally I think he would have waited until the takeover was going through. Don't know if that means it's close, or more likely he's just had enough of being away from his family home. Being hopeful that the new owners are worried that the canteen-loving dickhead we have employed right now will do more severe damage that they're bringing forward their plans to bring Rafa home much earlier. Lose to Villa and sack the c***. Rafa in soon. Wishful thinking.
-
Well done Ando7[/member] again! Now get some news about any takeover or Rafa gossip please. Going to stick my neck out that Bruce will.say we were too attacking against Arsenal hence we need to go back to basics and tighten the defence so we go back to the back 5 used by the mighty Rafa but remember, this is my way now.
-
So he's bringing on ASM as a super sub to rescue a draw? Good. Come on Villa. Make cabbageheed suffer.
-
We are where we are and Villa a very good side. They beat the champions 7-2!
