Saturday wasn't weakened. Yes he made changes but most of the players he put in, maybe except for Gamez, were players who Rafa had trusted before to start a game. Problem with Saturday was complacency. There is no way Rafa will go with his strongest possible team tomorrow with a game on Friday. Had it not been Friday or even Forest, then maybe he'd had put strong sides out not for Hull only but also on Saturday.

The Friday game against Forest shouldn't be taken lightly for tomorrow's team selection. Think we'll get surprises for the Hull match and a strong team against Forest.

Looking at it, even with a cup win in midweek, there's a high chance we could be 2nd by the end of the next round of league games as we play Forest 3 days after Hull and I'm not sure we could pull off a win there even before today's lost.

I really don't want him to get sacked in the near future. The Palace fans haven't suffered anything near to what we did and especially with the way they ridiculed us and lauding the return of their hero/God. Plus, if he's sacked now, some Palace fans would feel he wouldn't deserve it because he saved them from relegation, brought them to a FA Cup final which they were 8 minutes away from winning and they're supposedly still in a fucking transition period. All these bs excuses should be wiped from the memory of Palace fans. And of course since he's a media darling, those excuses will be used by his mates, and the inevitable excuse of should be given more time and etc. Point is, he'll be pictured as the victim of unpatient Palace fans. So the longer he stays and keeps them miserable with recurring hint of a revival, the better.

Think he was rather known for making mistakes and going into rash tackles unnecessarily, especially during the Euros. He also conceded a penalty against Reading iinm but seems that he's cut that out from his game recently. Will only improve further. Quality purchase.
