would they have direct sunlight with a 3000ft stand in front of them? of course it does..u can even see it now that the East stand is sun bathed during the early part of the season and towards the end.. having cameras facing the sunlight aint that great for the TV viewers..I think cameras at Villa, Chelsea, Everton n Spurs face the sunlight in the afternoon games alreet man calm down, i was making a joke about the size of the stand tbh. aite..wasnt at all angered by ur comment mate.. but yeah ur rite..it is one gigantic stand tbh..

has anyone wondered how cool it would be if the TV cameras were actually switched from the current position to the East Stand? I think it would look fucking awesome seeing the cameras facing the giant Milburn stand and the adjacent Leazes End.. But the cameras would have direct sunlight in the early and end part of the season though

the only thing thats keeping us from filling those seats is not coz we aint won anything..no not all..the only reason we can see emoty seats at SJP is coz some fans are against filling up Fat Mike's pocket..no true Geordie will miss a match coz we havent won anything in ages..

I just cant stop thinking and dreaming of one day some billionaire takes the club from Fat Mike and instantly say they will expand the Gallowgate to look like that..just imagine the atmoshpere everytime we score a goal at that end of the ground..and imagine the sunlight steaming through the glass roof there..sunny day at SJP or a night match, the view of the stadium would be fucking stunning

Those listed buildings are beautiful, in a dream world we could have an all size rounded stadium, but the lopsidedness gives it more character and gives those on level 7 a pretty good view of the city when the match itself is boring. We can extend to somewhere between 60k-62k by just expanding the Gallowgate to a mirror image of the Leazers end all ready and that would make it one of the biggest stadiums in Britain. I would gladly settle for 62k. Anyway theirs nothing stopping us from raising the east stand a little, providing the roof was transparent to allow the sunlight to shine on the listed buildings behind. i would just love if the Gallowgate was just developed a little bit more and like u said, mirror the Leazes stand..would look like Celtic's stadium with the horseshoe design..and it would still give 3 sides of the stadium a wonderful view of the city..especially in the early part of the summer and those cold winter nights..placing screens in the corner atop of the East stands adjacent to the Gallowgate and Leazes would be a dream stadium

Anyone seen how the 'new' dugout looks like? Anyone uploaded the nufctv video of the face lift done to the SJP pitch and dugout? I still have dreams one day that SJP will be expanded even bigger..but just dont think Fat Mike is the man to do it..
