Not sure they are that great anyway tbh. Aren't that good apart from Hazard and de Bruyne Courtois is world class like. Benteke, Alderweild and Vertonghen are all good premier league players. The should have really been able to beat this Wales team with ease, but for what ever reason it just never seems to click for them, and when ever i've seen them (Which admittedly isn't much) they have been a very boring side, and when you have a predominately attacking team team, it just doesn't make sense.

They're both correct in a way tbh

The black patched on is a training kit I think. Dortmund and Arsenal have a similar templates for their training kits.

I wish people would stop saying the bollocks in bold. Why does Steve McClaren deserve a chance at managing a club he has no association with in a town he has no association with? He's either been sacked or walked away from his last 5 jobs which he was failing at and he's turned the job down twice when in less than 6 months when it suited him to do so. Really, he shouldn't be anywhere near the club and he definitely does not deserve the job, far from it. So someone new comes in, who is well respected as being a good coach, gets rid of the old staff, says some positive intentions in every interview, and your not even willing to give him a chance?

Can't remember the last time we were linked with so many people, its like Christmas

I'm happy enough with this appointment, he supposedly plays decent football, and everything he's said has been positive. Everything that has came out of the club since the end of the season has been somewhat positive, and it makes a change. Only time will tell if they stick by their words, It may not happen, as has been the case in the past. I've been as negative about the regime as anyone, but I just don't want to be pessimistic about the club any more,I want to look forward to games again, and not dread them, I want to look at the bright side for a change, i'm willing to give them the summer and start of next season to see what the club and McClaren implement.

Guess who else you said this about Ian? Anyone who takes the job is instantly tainted by association, this is why the club can't go anywhere without a clean break. He'll be utterly reviled by Christmas, and the cycle repeats itself. Yeah because there are already people "disgusted" by what he said in his first interview after being given a great opportunity. Like Ian said, he's hardly going to get the job and go "yeah fuck Ashley, amirite? Fucking mug!" It's ridiculous to think otherwise. It's the most uninspiring choice after what seemed like a few more exciting options, but it's better than where we were at this time last year. We need to judge him on who he brings in and how he performs next season, not judge him on his first interview to the club newspaper. This, 100x this

This is probably just me being dumb and not paying attention when it isn't Newcastle related, but I can't remember the last time I saw a new manager press conference in the Premier League

Shearer as assistant would be awesome, never happening mind, he has too much self respect to work under these wankers a second time.

Aye, this is pretty much me too. I'm sick of hating everything to do with the club and I want it to work so I can start to go back to how I was regarding the club. Being negative as fuck is starting to wear pretty thin and I just want to start enjoying NUFC again, McClaren's not who wanted but he's got it now so I'll just wait and see how it goes for a year. Binning Carver and Stone is a biggie for me, a bit of investment in 5 or 6 quality players would help and if he's as good a coach as I've heard then it augurs well. I want it to work. This is pretty much my look on the whole thing, willing to give him time, and getting rid of Carver is a good start. If next season we finish in the top 10 and have a good run in the cup, and play some decent non hoofball football and there are signs of progression, I will be happy, thats all I want after 4 years of shite.

Indon't think anyone takes the Dutch title seriously. Give over man. This He won a title for a team that had never won a league championship before, in a league that is usually dominated by 2 or 3 clubs, so to discount it would be stupid.
