    NUFC Transfer Rumours

As far as I'm aware, Nixon et all, would scout and pick targets, he would then present them to the transfer committee, and Howe would say if he would want them or not, and if he says he doesn't want them they wouldn't pursue it. Fail to see how that's an issue like. In Fact the policy has been really successful in the main.

  3. So basically the expanded Club World Cup has been the tipping point. Who'd have thunk.
  4. Looks like live matches will take place here: https://www.youtube.com/@BarclaysWC This season.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

£60m for McNeil, what is Mitchell playing at letting Howe have control of signing, in this PSR world we really need to be looking abroad for signings instead of Premier League cloggers who cost a premium. Really starting to think the people at our club don't have a clue.
  7. Just wanted to say, props to the club, Evri (The worst delivery company around btw) decided today to deliver a package I ordered from the Online store to a random house that isn't in my area. I called the club, and they sent out a new one right way, with no real fuss.

Just a thought experiment, how does Howe set up an England team?

    England

He is someone who represented England in a way I had always wanted someone to represent the nation. He took a broken team post Iceland and post Big Sam and he built a culture and an atmosphere that I've never seen before, there were no more petty club rivalries or squabbles, the players actually wanted to be their and weren't daunted by the challenge of putting on the shirt. He treated the job with the respect it deserves, he spoke out about social issues in football, in a very respectful but blunt way especially when it came to the effect of racism in football. While tactically he wasn't the best, he is undoubtedly the best England manager in my lifetime, and is a manager that I will always looked back on fondly.

I've always thought Poch would be a really good fit here tbh. Though us and Argentine managers don't really mix
