Southampton have the chance to do the funniest thing.

Man City are just mentally shanked, they haven't refreshed the squad particularly well, so the hunger to go again from the same set of players after a grueling campaign last season, and the 3 seasons previous just isn't there. I also think they're a prime example of an issue that a lot of clubs are having, none of their players have had a break since COVID, they're all being run into the ground, there was a Euros and Copa America in the summer, before that there was a mid-season World Cup which elongated and condensed the calendar, the year before that it was year late Euros, all the while, more and more games are being added to the calendar, like potentially 4 extra games in the Champions League, a new revamped club world cup, its just unsustainable from a physical point of view. As an example, Phil Foden is 24, and he's already played 329 games for club, and 43 games for England. Its ridiculous.

Now would be a good time to turn over to BT Sport if you don't want to completely undeserved Man United Wankathon
-
If Man United play like that against Bournemouth next week, they'll get fuck all from it. If Man City play like that against Aston Villa next week, they'll get fuck all from it.
-
Man United have been so trash, fucking hell
-
Otherwise known as a ghosty poo.

I know there is still 20 minutes left, but Man United have been utter atrocious here. They're playing the most frail Man City side of the past decade, who have really struggled to deal with any sort of transition, and Ederson hasn't had a save to make. And as I type Fernandes misses a sitter
-
Bruno Fernandes has been awful here.
-
Thank fuck there is another couple of games after this to cleanse the pallet
-
People saying Man City have been poor, while they have been by their standards, they're the ones that have done the majority of the running, even if it is side to side. Man United have been worse, they've offered nothing.

Can't complain about that, she's a decent presenter, as are Chapman and Logan too. If they're doing a rotation, i'm really surprised Scott isn't in there given how she seems to be everywhere these days. Didn't know she was the daughter of Dalglish mind

Who do we think takes the job? Not sure someone like a Moyes would take it, Potter definitely won't and it would be career suicide from Cooper? Maybe someone on the up in the Championship? Carlos Corberán or Danny Röhl?
-
Gary O'Neil seems decent enough manager, but not sure if he gets another Premier League job, he'll probably get a decent high end Championship job though.
-
Wolves have conceded 40 goals this season, 19 of them have been from set-pieces.
-
Lewis Hall had the most touches, played the most passes, AND created the most chances for Newcastle in their 4-0 win against Leicester!
-
He posted a few weeks back to glow in the aftermath of the Classico.

Was thinking the exact same

I'm rooting for any team that isn't: Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man United, Man City and Spurs. To finish in the European places (Obviously this is if its not us).
-
Quality from Anderson that.
-
Fucking justice that.
-
When are they bring semi-automated offsides in? As this wait is bullshit.
-
That whole move from Forest was quality.
