To be fair, given how he's had 3 games in 7 days, there isn't a whole lot you could do tactically in that time, so trying to lift the players spirits is probably the correct thing to do in those circumstances. And I say that as someone who doesn't rate Lampard.

When Gerrard was sacked Villa had 9 points from 11 games, 20 games later, and with Emery at the helm, an actual good football manager, and with the only addition of a solitary left back, Villa are now on 50 points from 31. Bet the media still rim the ass of Gerrard though, and Emery doesn't get the respect he deserves.

It is a bit of a cliche, but Leicester are just sleepwalking to a relegation here, there is absolutely no fight, zip, or buzz about anything they're doing, it's like they're just going through the motions.
