Draw > Man United Win > > > > > > Spurs Win.

Game is being played exactly how I thought it would, they're pressing high and use their strength in midfield to control the tempo of the game, but then when they do get the ball they can't do anything with it. We need to liven up, we've been very sloppy losing the ball countless times, Willock in particular has been poor. Hopefully Eddie sorts it out.

Unsurprisingly Tottenham haven't gone with a back 4 today

Villa and Brentford are tough games like, I know they're at home for them, but they'll not be easy, Fulham could be tricky too.

People expecting Liverpool to steamroller the rest of their games just need to look at their form this season and how inconsistent it is, and then look at the games they've played over the last few days, as they've looked really shaky at the back, and been lucky to beat a poor Forest and West Ham side. Its possible they go on a 9 game winning streak, but the odds of it are very low, even with "Favorable" games.

Forest have a pen.

They have Villa and Brentford to play which are tough games, and Leicester fighting could be tricky.
-
As it stands, if we win tomorrow, all we need is 7 points from 6 games to finish above Liverpool.

Hopefully these Brighton and Liverpool results stick.

Lascelles has done well whenever he has played this season to be fair, and like others have said, Everton's style suit him to the ground, so its not as big an issues as first thought.

Has there been a bigger indictment of how shite Bruce was then this? Another followed 13 months later when Howe replaced Bruce. “After his first training session, I thought, ‘That’s totally different’. I loved every second. I didn’t play much at the start but I always thought the way he wanted to play really suited me, and once I’d got in…” That January, when Everton came knocking, Howe showered Longstaff with love. “I needed it massively,” he says. “In my opinion, it was something that had been lacking in the two years prior. It’s like anything: as much as you’re a professional and an adult, if someone shows you a bit of love and affection and tells you how great you are, it’s nice to hear. I hadn’t heard it for a long time. “I spoke to the new manager more that month than I’d spoken to the old one in two years, which is probably not a good sign. He told me what his plans were, how he saw me in the team. He said, ‘We’ll get you a new contract sorted’ — the club had just let me run into the last year of my deal. I thought to myself, ‘I don’t really think I believe you’, but it came true.

The thing I find weird about the Gordon situation, is that he got condemned by the wider media for the way he forced a move to us, but if anyone looks at the situation he was in at the time, having been surrounded by an angry mob on his way out the stadium, chastising him, insulting him, I too would do everything in my power to get out of that situation, and no-one seems to have taken any of that into context, they just went straight to "He treated Everton with a lack of respect, acted in bad faith, and he's a bad professional".

Love that to commentator just deadpan said "And that was hammered away by Koch" without a hint of laughter

Looking at results over the last few weeks, the J-League may be a chest code for the BTTS market.
