  1. I was wondering this, they have a winnable game in the FA Cup against Blackpool, but on the flip side they have Brentford the Saturday after the second leg, which will realistically be their priority, will be interesting to see what their intensity is like next week.

    Eddie Howe

In half a season, we have the same amount of clean sheets (16) as the last two season combined

    Nick Pope

When was the last time a keeper went 10 games without conceding a goal? Their can't be many.
  4. I don't think he was noticeably bad but I agree with you, he was probably our weakest player today, Walker-Peters had him on toast several times. BTW is Southampton go down, we should get Walker-Peters as a Trippier cover.

    Jacob Murphy

I know he can be a bit shit, but I can't help but love this little shithouse
  6. Holy shit that was stressful, we should have been 4/5 up and the tie should be dead, but atleast we're going to SJP with a goal advantage, thats massive. Some observations: Willock needs fucking shooting practice. Bruno is the best CM in my lifetime, he's utter quality, and just bossed that game from start to finish. Nick Pope's record stands strong. Miggy's dribbling ability has come on leaps and bounds, its his biggest attribute. Isak need to start next week, Wilson has been off it recently and the dynamism of Isak as well as the pace of ASM changed that game. Longstaff is really poor on the ball, but the work he does going back is unrivaled and contributes massively to the way we play. Going to take a while for my heart rate to come down, not sure i'll sleep for a while
  7. They are the same front three that scored 3 or more goals in 4 of the last 8 PL games before the World Cup like.
  8. That fucking disallowed goal man. How the fuck wasn't that overturned? Absolute joke of a decision. We should deservedly be ahead here.
  9. Thats not likely to happen though, the club don't mess around, we'll have a value for a player, and thats what we'll pay, look at Botman as an example. £25m + £15m in add-ons, which is what it looks like would get him, is probably average to get a 21 year old English Premier League winger.
  10. Can I ask, who cares? Transfer fee's are hyper inflated these days. Leeds just signed a striker for £30m from Hoffenheim wo has a 1 in 6 goal return. Transfer fee's are meaningless.
  11. We just ignoring literally every other thing that the club has done since the owners came in then? As well as the track record that Dan Ashworth had at Brighton?
  12. I can't remember where I read it, but I saw something a while back that Maddison wouldn't be available until the summer, and that we're likely to try and get him then, and that we'd be his likely destination. Besides Gordan and Maddison are completely different players, not really comparable.
  13. One thing I think is worth mentioning, is that the club seem to heading heavily towards using data analysis for various aspects of how the club, transfers being one of them, so clearly there'll be certain metrics that Gordan hits that are advantageous to the way we set-up and play.
