Don't really understand the mentality of "We really need to bin these deals off that are taking time", in January I can understand it given how pressing everything would have been, but this window has only just officially opened, and we still have well over 2 months to get transfers done, we've also already signed two players (Pope and Targett), so they're clearly working on multiple deals at the same time, its not like they're slacking, or actively avoiding doing deals like in previous summers. If we've got our priority signings, we should try and exhaust every possible avenue to get it done, rather then just chuck them in the sea at the first sign of adversity. Think they've actually handled this perfectly to be honest.

£75m is alot for him, but he's indispensable for Southampton and would be really hard for them to replace, so putting a price tag of £75m is what he's worth to them, even if not for others. Its like when you set a transfer vale of £100m on FM as you don't really want to sell the player.

Chelsea need to worry next season, as with Spurs and Arsenal strengthening, and them now being under new ownership I can see them dropping out the top 4. I also have a sneaking suspicion that Liverpool may drop off a touch next season, as a sort of "Transition" year for them, don't think they'll drop out the top 4, but just stop going toe to toe with City.

That would be a great start to the window to be honest. Botman and Ekitike are people who can slot into the first team with one eye to the future. Targett and Pope players who know the league, and add much needed competition in there respective positions. Small steps and all that, but we're slowly building to a team should be able to at the very least comfortable finish mid-table.

Happy enough with this, from what I've seen he's pretty much a similar level to Dubravka, so while not an "upgrade" they'll both be providing competition for one another, which will drive them to be get better. Not brainer at the price point, really shrewd business.

People seem to shit on him, but this is a really decent update, even if it's a case of just summing the state of play with various situations that may have been reported elsewhere...

Feel like i'm the only one that actually likes Castore, and think the quality of there clothes are generally top notch. Design wise they're pretty decent too on most of there kits the produce. They seem to be getting more and more contracts too.

The Fun88 deal is being cut short at the end of this coming season so June 30 2023, not this year.
