That voice sounds like a cross between Eddie Howe and George Caulkin.

All clubs compliant...

I can understand the sentiment behind this, but he has actually contributed to the addition of 19 points since he joined, and thats despite being injured for half of last season, and being in and out this year.

Its a win/win from my POV, a Liverpool win means should we beat Wolves we'll be closer to Forest, if Forest win, it means Liverpool have lost, which is always hilarious.

The signing made complete sense at the time, and was one I was really keen on as were most people on here tbh. The fee was around £12m if I remember correctly, and in the 6 months prior when he was on loan, he was incredibly solid, with him coming in being one of the reasons our defensive record improved in that survival season (Along with Burn), and he was also incredibly liked in the squad by all accounts. At that time, the consensus that summer was that we where going to be in a transitional season that year, where we could maybe push for a Europa League spot, but the main season goal was to just be lower top half, without any threat of relegation, which he would have been perfect for. He then got injured, and we got Champions League football, and that transitional season just didn't happen, so the squad very quickly passed him by. He has been a victim of circumstance, and the fact that our 25th placed squad member is Targett shows just how much we've gone forward in recent years. I also think he was solid if unspectacular yesterday, with the occasional rustiness thrown in.

My memory is quite hazy, as I was young, but wasn't it Birmingham where we went 3-0 down after 10 or so minutes in the early 00's? Edit: Thinking about it, it may have been Portsmouth.

Going to be hilarious when Man United, having drawn against Liverpool and Arsenal back to back, lose at home against Southampton midweek.

That was a solid, if unexciting, professional performance, where we just got the job done with minimum fuss, that keeps our positive momentum going into a key couple of home games. I will not remember beyond today, and there we didn't really learn anything from it, other than Bromley are a defensively solid team, Osula has a rocket of a shot on him, and Miley still looks really comfortable at this level.

I don't know why I ever look forward to these games, as its always the same. Players coming in who don't have many minutes, and lacking match sharpness, against a team with 11 men behind the ball, and the result is always just stodge, like the Wimbeldon game earlier in the season

What a fucking hit

The Bromley team went out for a "traditional" pre-match Nando's yesterday

It is kind of hilarious that Ange's first 0-0 as Tottenham manager is against Tamworth.

I was listening to 5live earlier, apparently he'd still part-time (though he's going full time later this season) and currently works as a care assistant for kids with severe disabilities.

Oh it was Trippiers first game, don't know who didn't start out of the 5 I posted?
