Was just looking at our fixtures, and by the time we play Liverpool, we'll be a third of the way through the season, and we'll have played arguably the 4 hardest home games of the season already in Man City, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool. It means that in the second half of the season we'll play 7 of 10 games against current bottom half opposition, and two of the other 3 are against Bournemouth and Forest, who could have potentially dropped of by that point. It does mean that we'll have much harder away games, but it should hopefully mean that if we do lose any momentum in them away games, it won't last too long as we'll have a favorable home fixture coming up not too long after.

It's easily the most competitive Premier League season I can remember. It feels like there are no teams that's are far and away better than anyone else, even Liverpool seem fallible despite 25 points out of 30. Fulham are a perfect example, they seem like they've had a really good start to the season, playing good football, and putting in some impressive performances, but they're 12th.

Arsenal's tactics where really weird in general, I thought they'd change it at half time but they didn't, they where just pumping it out to the wings to get crosses in the box, but they play with a false nine and don't have a recognized striker, so it just didn't lead anywhere, Pope didn't have a save to make all game, and I barely remember even attempting a ball through the lines either. Its odd. Then you add in the fact they're getting known for scoring from set pieces, and they genuinely look like a Stoke side from a decade ago.

What a fucking result, what a performance. Everyone to a man was unreal. The shape and positioning we employed was excellent, it limited them in everything they where attempting. If that Arsenal performance was a performance from Stoke circa 2012, no one would have batted an eyelid, we made them look turgid. Special shout out to Hall and Livramento, both of them absolutely shut down their wingers. Saka did nothing all game, neither did Martinelli. Longstaff also, was quality. We just seem to look so much better with him in the team, his passing was noticeably crisper too, maybe the time on the side line has made him buck his ideas up. Man of the Match though was Bruno, that was a captains performance, he was everywhere and ran the show all game. I also thought the ref had a good game, well, atleast by Premier League standards If we can continue with this template, and sort out or away form, we could be a really dangerous side.
